Enjoyed my stay
Pros:

Good location and quiet place. The heritage decor. All staff are very friendly and helpful. Good food and was prepared according to my needs.

Cons:

The steep and narrow approach road. 30 steps to climb up to the Reception and no lift since it’s an old building. Very few hotels have lift in Darjeeling

Even inspite of the few drawbackswe thoroughly enjoyed our stay there .
Pros:

Everything about the hotel was wonderful, cleanliness, exceptional staff always helpful. The day we were supposed to leave there was marathon scheduled so all roads were closed for traffic so we had to walk to the railway station , the staff from the hotel carried our luggage to the railway station .
The food was awesome.

Cons:

The drawbacks of the hotel is , it is built on a steep hill and the hotel does not have elevator. Every day to go out lot of stairs to climb up and down though there was a shuttle service to take us down the hilly road to the main street but the service time of the shuttle is from 8:00am to 9:00 pm so guest have to be back at the end of the street by 8:00 pm otherwise walk up the steep slope which is hard for seniors like us.
The hot water line also doesn’t work properly all the time . As it is very old hotel it needs a lot of upgrades and maintenance.

It’s good for a short stay, they need to work out on their facilities

Pros:

Property is located near to mall road, though bit walking is required to reach there, overall it was comfortable stay.

Food was excellent, very tasty, hospitable staff, vintage type property, Its one of oldest in darjelling well maintained.

Stay at Sinclairs Darjeeling.
Pros:

The property although pretty old but very good in terms of location and the staff of the hotel were excellent. A few names that I can remember and would like to mention are:
1) Pragya - main reception.
2) Swaraj (I believe) - main reception.
3) Mr. Anil - Restaurant manager.
4) The kitchen staff and the table attenders.
5) The housekeeping staff.
6) The boys.

The food was excellent and the breakfast spread was amazing.
All of our requests were looked into with prompt response and effect.
The stay was excellent experience for my family and would definitely recommend to others.

Cons:

1) The rooms need to be upgraded in terms of the bed, bed mattress, window curtains and the carpets.
2) The games room needs to be upgraded with better sports equipment.

location of the property is superb.
Quality of food is excellent.
warm and tourist fraindly behavior of the staff.

Cons:

over all maintenance of the hotel. Uaes of wood in hotel interior including inside room are high, that's good it gives a rich look but it need to be polished in regular interval. Corridor lights needs to be appropriately bright. Need to clean carpets in regular interval.
