The employees were helpful, friendly and seemed happy to be at work. Especially Micah, who seems to be capable of wearing every hat! The beds were comfy, showers hot and good water pressure and lighting was bright and well placed for several options. No funky smells or mystery stains anywhere - just clean room. We were pleasantly surprised to have an entertainer our last night there. He was terrific and it was a cool, laid back atmosphere to come in to after being out in the freezing air on Music Row.
The only - very minor thing - is that there is no mirror except in the bathroom.
The breakfast and room layout.
Free breakfast was provided one morning.
The hotel lost power for about 10 or 11 hours related to the impact weather.
The hotel stated they only had a generator that powered the front desk/lobby and kitchen area. There were only two electrical outlets in the lobby that could be used to charge phones. In my opinion this is poor planning. They should have had a generator(s) to power the entire hotel. We were not able to watch TV and had no heat in our room.
Friendly staff
Very clean
The $50 valet parking
Downtown location
Kita was amazing! She was knowledgeable about all our questions. She gave us wonderful recommendations on food and fun places in town. The hotel was beautiful, clean, and organized. We will be back every trip. Very family oriented!
We flew in from NH the day of the ice storm and the city closed down. We had planned this trip 2 months prior, it was our first time in Nashville. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming, and helped facilitate an early check in. The hotel got very busy as more and more people lost power. Despite the incoming calls, steady check ins and general questions, the entire hotel staff remained calm, professional and friendly. The hotel was clean, the room was exactly what we booked online. Housekeeping did a fabulous job keeping up with restocking amenities and keeping everything clean. The onsite restaurant had great food (shout out to Vick!) the cheeseburger, wings and vegetable primavera were all excellent. The dining room supervisor worked hard and kept everything running smoothly. Last but certainly not least, Vanessa was behind the bar making awesome drinks and is also a culinary expert. She was great at keeping us happy, full and smiling . All while behind the scenes the entire hotel staff was dealing with a horrible weather crisis. It was not the Nashville vacation we had hoped for, but it was Hilton for the win! We will definitely stay again in warmer weather next time.
Staff was very nice and helpful upon needing to cancel our reservation last minute
You have to pay $45 per vehicle per night whether you have a reservation or not. Booking does not have that listed and it is not listed on their site anywhere and this caused us to have to cancel last minute.
I had a great stay when visiting Hilton Garden Inn Nashville. Hotel located in a good spot, very close to Vanderbilt and a short ride to Broadway. Hotel was clean and stay was comfortable. I would stay again!
Amanda. The bartender. Amazing. Super fun. Most fun I’ve had at a hotel bar. Hilarious. Made my night so much fun!! And live music was good.
Proximity to Vanderbilt and music row
Did not like that you have to pay $45 per day to park and it was not on website . Or maybe I didn’t see it. Booked from booking.com
Not impressed or really happy with the hotel. Here is why
1. The shower door was so bad that my wife got locked inside of it and I had to come in and manhandle it to slide it over enough for her to be able to get out of the shower.
2. 2 jets in the tub did not work
3. The fridge in out room did not get cold (or even cool)
4. The booklight next to the bed did not work
5. Breakfast was basic at best and our "waitress" did not speak to us the entire time we were there. She just sat at another table and played on her phone. For $19 a piece we excepted much more.
6. There are 3 cardio machines in he gym. 1 treadmill and the elliptical had "out of order on it." come to find out the other treadmill would not go above 1mph.
7. I wanted to turn on the TV in the gyms during my workout. I went to the front desk to ask if they had the remotes. I was not greeted, I had to speak first, the lady said "no" and did not even bother to turn off the video she was watching on her phone.
For $311 plus $50 parking, I expected better from Hilton. From the many broken items to the staff not following the "guarantee" that is on signs on many of your walls or even caring we were there.

We didn’t eat breakfast.
There were no coffee pods in our room.
Quality of breakfast 5⭐️
I'd prefer walk-in shower however the room was great
