Sounds like I’m a moaner but I’m trying to be constructive, as someone who has been in the business.
Pros:

The view over Runcorn 🤣. No, the Hotel is in a lovely peaceful setting. The room was a good size and clean. Some of the staff were very pleasant but a couple, I wouldn’t pay in washers.

Cons:

I think the breakfast is well overpriced at £15.95. No complaints about what was on offer, particularly, but for breakfast ?? Also the chairs in the dining room are a total mish mash of fabrics and styles at each table. Maybe I’m old fashioned but to me it looks totally cheap and uncaring. Also some of the chairs with fabric are badly stained, sorry , no excuses for that.

Great hotel with leisure facilities and local walks.
Pros:

Quiet, comfortable room. The hotel is set in a lovely area just outside the town centre of Frodsham. Lovely walks from the doorstep. Especially loved the gym which was spacious and good range of equipment, pool, sauna and jacuzzi. Breakfast had enough options for dietary requirements. Staff helpful and friendly.

Awful
Pros:

Location was good

Cons:

Hotel guests have to pay for gym and swimming pool use! Mattress is over warn and very uncomfortable. Pillows were very lumpy and impossible to get comfortable with so I spent a lot of the night awake. Ceiling lights were hanging down and broken. People in the car park revving engine in the hours of the night just made the stay awful. RIP on the room seat and carpet had loads of stains.

Great for a couple of days when visting friends.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Too much for me. The refurbishment of the common areas is good and welcome. Nice to see the goldfish being able to swim in running water. Big TV screens.

Cons:

The bathrooms are still a hangover from the seventies - pink suites! Understand the costs involved to replace them all. Let's have a couple of proper biscuits rather than the little biscoff thngies! Why was the gate to the memorial path locked?

Great value for money , friendly helpful team and excellent meals and good breakfast choice
Pros:

Staff very helpful from Reception, Fitness suite to Restaurant staff . Food excellent and nothing was too much trouble with positive friendly staff all round .

Cons:

Shower was a mixer with bath tap, unfortunately when you pulled the the central button up to make the water run from the taps then transfer to the shower head , the button would drop back down so the water ran out of the tap again instead of the shower head unless you held it in position , which then means you are bent over double !
This is a simple repair and not good enough that you can’t shower , get this sorted if you want repeat customers . Room 94 for your reference
