didnt give the place a chance....walking from the front desk to the room was enough for me to look for better lodging. I didnt get a refund of my travel fees which sucks...no refund for the 7 days of stay either.....oh well....800 down the drain

Perfect location but the resort could use a complete renovation as its old and outdated. There is also a lot of noise from the night club on the first level of the complex and the windows in the bathroom are not accessible by the guest and they are open letting in all the sound.

I stayed in Room 207. It was well equipped for my needs; Free Wifi, full kitchenette (microwave, fridge with small freezer compartment, over, hob), comfy sofa and pull-down bed, lamps and TV. Everything was perfectly functional although the textured wall and ceiling could do with an update and the premises shows signs of wear 'n' tear. The air-con is small but effective, though it generates a lot of noise. The bathroom vents were open during my stay, which allowed the outside heat, humidity and noise in, so it's not the quietest of properties. The staff were polite, friendly and helpful.

Location-wise, the property is within easy walking distance of several shopping malls and a good selection of dining options. It's also a short 8-10 minute walk from Waikiki Beach. There are several bus stops outside the property, and the sightseeing bus operators are two blocks away.

I believe Kuhio Banyan Club is a great option for travellers who value being close to the action whilst on a tight budget. Sure, you can be closer to the beach and have a little more luxury for $60-100 more per night but it serves as a great self-catering option in the heart of Waikiki for those on a modest budget or who want to spend that money on what Waikiki has to offer instead.

If your looking for a no frills room in a great location, this is the place for you. Very very basic room but clean. In the heart of the action

I will never ever stay here. I checked in, seen the room wasn’t what it looked like in photos. It was dirty as well. I was in there for about 10 minutes and booked a different hotel and got to bug bite son the process. They wouldn’t give a refund. Disgusting.

Would stay there again

It was comfortable. We checked in after 12 am and checked out by 8 am the next morning. The housekeeper was super friendly and helpful. We just slept and left. We didn't like that there was no parking. I will keep that in mind next time we make hotel reservations. No parking was inconvenience.

The property is dated but it is functional. The bed is comfortable. The kitchen is a perk. I cooked every day I was there. It is across of the international marketplace. There is a target that has essentials and groceries. The air-conditioning was broken the first night I got there. I told the front desk the next morning and a service guy came. He determined the air conditioner was broken beyond repair. When I arrived in the evening after my day’s activities, there was new air conditioner in the room. It is inconvenient that I couldn’t check out until 7 am when the desk opened. But, for the price, you have to make allowances. I would stay here again.

Jason was the best. Thank you braddah. Always good to come gome to island, stop in for a few before going home. All staff.... amazing. Im hard to deal with, yet they always exceed expectations.

It was a great place for the price. Clean, convenient, to walk to eat, shop or the beach! We don’t spend time in our room but to shower an sleep so this was a perfect choice for us.

Nice and simple

No parking, Murphy bed, dirty carpet. Window unit AC, unsafe location, hot elevator, very low class. However, the staff was nice.

In the downtown, best location for everything

i really enjoyed my stay. the staff was kind and easy going. the location was perfect a lot of things to do in the area. very good.

The room was like a studio, little outdated, pull out bed from wall. Had a waterbug in the room that fell on my bed and when I told the front desk the lady laughed and said its normal.. ( maybe for her not me) I asked them to fumigate since I was going to be away during that day and came back.to find a glue trap and a small roach bait which is definitely not for a Water bug. The room was over a busy and noisy restaurant area. You could hear pots and noise from people, deliveries early morning and everyone eating and talking during the day. Beside that area was convenient and close to transportation, beach and stores. I told them I would leave 1 day early from the first day I came and asked for the taxes and fees back for that one day and I kept being told they would get in contact with upper management but never got back to me. The rest of the staff was friendly and helpful.

Love the place. Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable. Close to everything. Will stay here again.

I like the property of its proximity and convenience to everything Waikiki has to offer

Besides the nightclub downstairs with the loud music going to 3am it was good room for the price. They put out a sign in front that says its a quiet zone from 11pm to 7am. Not so quiet with the club music. Bring ear plugs. They staff was friendly and accommodating letting us check in early and late check-out.

Carpet needs to be changed. Location was decent but to close to traffic. Friendly and helpful staff. Needs better AC.
