Albatross Hotel

Right on the beach in Serifos port. Location is perfect. The hotel is quite old and would need to be refurbished but for the price it is a good option.

This place is a bit rundown, but the price and awesome staff make up for it. Serifos is a rather expensive island, Albatross Hotel offers low budget travellers a good alternative. Great location, awesome staff, good beds and wifi works well. If you are looking for a fancy and super clean place, look elsewhere and be prepared to pay double.

Nice hotel, close to the beach. Very friendly and helpful owner. Wi-Fi is not working so well in last building. But owner is trying hard to improve it. Every year he upgrading few rooms to look it better. It's a family business. There are few fruit trees so you can eat grapes and figs for free😁.

We had a great stay here! Our room was about 150 feet from the beach. The perfect morning here is an early morning sunrise swim in the calm, glassy bay. If the refreshing swim and the sunrise doesn't wake you up, the owner, Mike, makes amazing coffee in the mornings that is very tasty and energizing. The people on the island were very friendly and the food is delicious. I would highly recommend visiting this island for a relaxing time on the beach and at the Albatross Hotel.

If you expect nothing fancy this hotel is perfect. However, if you prefer a little luxury this might not be the place for you.

Location is great (literally 10 meters from the beach). The hotel has its own sun beds.

Hotel by the sea, friendly and nice atmosphere (garden, playground for kids). Would require a better shared kitchen which looks a bit old.

Hôtel vieillot mal entretenu et sans charme.Le seul avantage est sa location : juste en face de la plage.

Verdens hyggeligste hotell nærmest på stranden. Kort vei til havn og mange restauranter. Eieren var veldig generøs og stilte alltid opp for oss. Smilende og hyggelige renholdere og ansatte gjorde oppholdet til en fin opplevelse. Vi følte at de ville at vi skulle ha en fin ferie. Spesialtilpassede frokoster i deilig bakhage. Eieren lagde "kveldste" til oss hver kveld :-)

Les choses avaient mal commencé, on ne trouvait pas notre réservation mais ce sont plutôt bien fini. C est un hôtel simple mais sympa avec un joli jardin intérieur et surtout juste en face de la plage. On bénéficie des chaises longues.

Mike the host made our five days 20 meters from the sea the very best ever! Serifos is such a lovely place. We will definitely return here and can warmly recommend to anyone! Cheers! Marko Arola and my E-Team consisting of three teenagers. ;)

Η τοποθεσια ειναι ιδανική.το δωματιο υπερβολικά μικρο για 3 άτομα.το μπανιο μύριζε παρα πολυ άσχημα και αποφεύγαμε να το χρήςιοποιησουμε.το ιδιο και το air condition.διαθετει ωραια αυλή.

Πολύ καλή τοποθεσία μιας και είναι πολύ κοντά σε όλα τα εστιατόρια και στάσεις λεωφορείων, αλλά και στο λιμάνι, ενώ ακριβώς απέναντι είναι η θάλασσα.
Στα αρνητικά του ξενοδοχείου είναι ο πολύ μικρός χώρος στο δωμάτιο και ο εξωτερικός χώρος του πρωινού. Επίσης σημαντικό, ότι ο χώρος για να απλώνεις τα ρούχα (πετσέτες θαλάσσης, μαγιό κτλ) είναι κοινόχρηστος.

Le petit jardin à l'arrière est un joli endroit calme, le patron est peu sympathique et peu convivial. Propreté très moyenne. Pas de petit déjeuner. La plage se trouve au bord de route donc très bruyant.

Albaross is in the best location for the beach! It has free sun loungers, worth their weight in gold, and the staff are lovely. There's a beautiful rear courtyard and nice breakfast

Insafitiant space. The bathroom was extremely small and there was a mess after taking a shower.

Chambre (3mx3m) et salle d'eau (1,5mx1m) minuscules, mal insonorisées et mal isolées. Le tout est vieillot. Les communs sont propres et le personnel gentil mais non anglophone. Patron anglophone gentil et dévoué. Cour intérieure accueillante. Hôtel proche du centre mais au calme. Pas de parking. Internet ok mais que dans le hall et ses abords.
Mauvais rapport qualité prix par rapport à certaines locations sur Sifnos.

Great stay. The boss of the hotel, Jorgos, was very nice and helpful, as well as everyone else at the hotel. It is literally ON the beach and there are some long chairs and umbrellas free of charge for the people staying at the Albatross. The nicest cocktail bar of the harbor (The Yacht Club) is 2 min away walking, as well as other nice restaurants. The island is great and the Albatross is perfect for a stay of 5 days, up to one week. Enjoy!
