Great hotel for our second stay in Santorini! Pool is great and big for central Fira!

Rooms clean and large! Cleaned every day! Plenty of parking!

Everything was amazing. Rooms were clean, fresh sheets and towels everyday. Lovely people. The pool area was great as well. Everything was perfect would stay here again. Amazing location

The hotel had bed bugs. We found the first bed bug on the pillow and then a second crawling across the bed. Brought both bugs, and photos to the hotel. They refused to do anything other than change the sheets. We went back to the room, and looked at the mattress. We found more bed bugs. The night manager told us that there was nothing he could do, even though he acknowledged there were bed bugs. He even said they’d put somebody else in that very room the next day.
At that point, we did not feel comfortable staying there. We left and paid for a room at another hotel.
The next day, we were told by Golden Star that they’d change our room. We went to look at the new room and also found all of the signs on that bed that there bed bugs as well. It was evident that the hotel has an infestation problem they’re refusing to deal with. The hotel refused to provide a refund and the manager/owners refused to talk to us. This was the worst hotel experience by far and ruined the start of our honeymoon. We were left scrambling to find new hotels last minute, and did not receive the refund.

Great hotel modern amenities. Pool is great. Staff is very welcoming and helpful close to the center of town without being right in the center of it. An amazingly quiet with the windows closed.

Any transportation is required to contact with hotel with certain fee, the room is not friendly for family used. Good location to access public transportation.

Loved our stay at Golden Star. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Air conditioning was excellent. Pool was great to cool down in the late afternoon. Highly recommend.

I rarely leave review, but Manolis was super accommodating . Helped us with many things throughout our 3 nights stay there. The room is sparkly clean everytime we come back. Room is beautiful and has reallly nice views of the ocean. Actually one of the rare hotels that looks better in person. Highly recommended

Excellent customer service lady works in the 8 am to 5pm work shift was amazing give us a lot of tips, friendly and help us in the itinerary at the island, hotel amazing lot of extras I recommend it

I believe this property was recently renovated and you can tell. It's very clean. The location is great because it's in Fira, just a short walk up a hill.

Great place, amazing rooms with awesome balcony and view! Pool was also amazing. Close walk to Fira which is super handy, and the car service was super handy as well.

Lovely hotel! Stayed in a maisonette room for three nights and loved it. Staff are so friendly and polite (sadly I didn’t get any names), but they were great! The room itself was really nice and modern. One thing to add is the ceiling in the bedroom part of the maisonette is really low - not really a negative but just something to bear in mind. Pool towels were provided and whilst there’s no bar they do sell drinks in the reception area from a drinks cart. Pool area is amazing and always quiet. Loved the balcony - sea views (non caldera) are really nice (not as breathtaking as some of the hotels that charge an extortionate amount per night, but still great). Overall amazing value for money and couldn’t recommend anymore. Location is a real asset - just at the top of the hill from the hotel (quite a steep one that is manageable for those who are fit and able) is Fira square and the bus station is a 5 minute walk away, so you can get the bus to the port/airport, or to one of the beaches. The hotel are also happy to arrange transfers

We had a lovely stay here. We were greeted by the male receptionist who’s there in the evenings; he was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. He answered all our queries and gave us lots of information. We had a bit of an issue with our room and didn’t get the suite we originally booked, but that was fine because we were really happy with the room we got as it still had a sea view. Hotel was so squeaky clean everywhere and it’s quite brand new. Our room and bathroom were cleaned spotless everyday. It’s a quiet hotel on a quiet street, which we loved and we loved being able to relax by the pool which wasn’t too busy either despite us going in August. Room was very spacious and very modern. Loved it!
