Pros:

Room was very nice, we were given an upgrade when we checked in due to our Hotels.com membership. Staff was all phenomenal! Food was great too!

Pros:

The pools were nice but the jacuzzis in both areas were not working properly.
Breakfast was average for a 5* hotel.
This is no way a reflection on the staff. As they were all fantastic in service and help and attitude.
Certain parts of the hotel would need attention, ie jacuzzi, pool areas, seating.

This is a fantastic hotel with a super friendly staff, beautiful rooms/amenities, and a quick walk to the shops, restaurants and bars of downtown Chora. They also helped us with excursion recommendations and transport every time we wanted to venture out. Loved staying there…5 stars!

The property is beautiful and is very centrally located and an easy walk to the town. The room was comfortable and offered everything one requires. The breakfast was also plentiful and amazing.

The only downside was that the service at the pool and bar area. No one ever came to take orders and the staff was general remorse and didn't seem interested. This property could make a lot more money by being attentive to the guests. In addition, we asked how to move the coverings to have shade and it took them over 1 hour to tell us that they were broken. The pool and bar staff is just generally uninterested in providing a higher level of service.

I will add that the driver, the front desk staff and cleaning staff were very attentive and accommodating.

I would stay here again as it is a beautiful property but would hope that they improve the pool and bar service.

As a frequent international traveler, I value properties that blend service, atmosphere, and location—and overall, Semeli Hotel in Mykonos delivered a high-quality experience.

My fiancé, my best friend, and I stayed for two nights and three days. We were warmly welcomed at the port by the hotel’s driver, and check-in was pleasant and efficient. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with two stunning pool areas—one larger and social, the other more intimate and relaxing. The rooms, while compact (which is typical in Mykonos), were charming, clean, and featured lovely views of the island.

A highlight of the stay was the exceptional service from Theodore, the bartender. Warm, professional, and highly skilled, he consistently crafted excellent drinks—each one perfectly balanced and clearly made with care. His presence added real value to our experience.

The hotel’s location is truly ideal—just steps from the vibrant town centre, oceanfront, shopping, and an abundance of fantastic tavernas and local dining spots. That said, we found the hotel’s own food offering underwhelming; a sandwich ordered by my travel companion lacked flavour and didn’t match the quality of nearby restaurants, which are abundant and delicious.

Loved Our Stay at Semeli Hotel!

Semeli Hotel is absolutely beautiful—like a mini block of charming Mykonos houses. The location is perfect: just a few minutes from the town center but still quiet, with amazing views from up the hill.

Breakfast was delicious every morning, the mattress was super comfy, and the pool area was gorgeous. One of the best perks? Free pick-up and drop-off at the airport or port—so convenient!

Semelli hotel is an amazing hotel and is now my go-to when I am in Mykonos! The property itself is beautiful, tucked away right near the town. Extremely close and walkable which is perfect for exploring, shopping, dining and going out in the town. The entire staff are beyond welcoming and kind and made my stay extra special. The food was delicious and the room was clean and had the amenities needed when traveling such as shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hair dryer, etc. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re visiting Mykonos and want to be close to the town.
