Great location
Back view room
We checked in in the early hours of the morning due to a delayed flight and in no time the smiling Dino had given us our room key.
The room was stunning with a fantastic view over to the beach and old town and fort.
It was spotless and clean,a big shout out to the cleaners who do a fantastic job and always smiled and said hello.
The restaurant below was used for breakfast in the morning and then set up for lunch and dinner during the day,fantastic food and the young girl serving was always happy and was Pano across at the beach.
Maria on reception was very helpful as were all the staff at this hotel,but I have to say that Lydia on reception is amazing and a credit to this hotel,always said hello and you can tell she loves dealing the public.
The hotel is about 10 minute walk from the old town and plenty of restaurants and bars around.
The setting was perfect for us and wouldn't hesitate to return to Rethymno and stay there again.

Har vært mange steder, men dette var beste hotellopplevelsen vår. Maria, Lydia og de andre tok utrolig godt vare på oss gjennom hele oppholdet - booket transfer og restauranter, osv. Rommet var supert og ble holdt rent og pent av dyktige og hyggelige damer. De blide og serviceinnstilte folka i restauranten tok vare på oss og våre ønsker gjennom både frokoster og deilige dager på stranden foran hotellet. Vi kommer gjerne tilbake!

We really enjoyed our stay at Steris. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful, the room is clean and spacious with AC available, and the location is perfect.
There is also an outdoor pool at the hotel, but we didn't use it. The beach is right across from the hotel, and the restaurant downstairs (that also hosts the breakfast) has sunbeds for free.
The location is particularly great because of the access to the beach, many restaurants nearby, and it's also just a 10/20-min walk away from the old town and port.
- Breakfast: We had the breakfast buffet for our entire stay which was very nice, lots of meat and vegetarian options. For me, as a vegan, there were not lots of options so I wouldn't necessarily recommend it (however, I think it's relevant to mention that the restaurant itself does have vegan options in their actual menu and they were very accommodating with vegan dishes when we went for dinner for instance). For my partner, who eats everything, the breakfast buffet was 10/10.
Since there is no private parking, that can be a bit of an issue, but it's not a problem of the hotel and, at least for us, we always found a spot by the hotel or a couple blocks nearby - it all depends on the time you try to park to be honest.
We liked everything, great hotel, the best location and the wonderful staff. Highly recommended
