Lovely cosy stay with fab views and very helpful host.
Pros:

It was perfect for skiing, we were able to ski part way down Maxes hill and walk over to the guesthouse,and same in the morning we could walk/ski across Maxes hill to get to the gondola. It was gorgeous to have the fresh bread and croissants in the mornings.

Cons:

Our only difficulty was that it was snowy and icy and it was difficult to get our car up the hill. Christian and his dad were very helpful transporting our luggage up for us so it all worked out. So the snow and low temps were great for the skiing but not great for driving on the hill!

Great accommodation on St. Johann
Pros:

The view is spectacular. The host, Christian, is exceptionally nice and welcoming. It is a lovely cosy and warm room, and it is really fun to eat breakfast or drink your coffee there. Free parking.

Cons:

Approach road with car is a bit steep and small, but manageable. It was a bit cold in the room and we had to ask the heat to be turned on - which Christian immediately did.

Heerlijk om te verblijven.
Pros:

Het prachtige uitzicht, ruim terras en tuin en in iedere kamer een eigen badkamer/toilet.
Het rustige zwembad met ligstoelen.
Een vriendelijke gastheer. De flexibiliteit om de datum te veranderen wegens familieomstandigheden.

Cons:

Koelkast aan de kleine kant.
Jammer dat er geen wasmachine beschikbaar is.
Hoofdkussens waren wat slap.

Wunderschöne Woche
Pros:

Wir haben eine Woche im Aparthotel Sonnleitn verbracht und uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist absolut sauber und gepflegt, die Aussicht direkt auf den wilden Kaiser war unser Highlight.
Das Aparthotel liegt generell sehr ruhig und lädt wunderbar zum Entspannen ein. Zu Fuß sind es keine 10 Minuten ins Tal, bzw. den Dorfkern.
Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet und bietet alles was benötigt wird.
Wir wurden auch sehr herzlich empfangen und kommen gern wieder.

Virkelig god udsigt på den dejlig store terrasse. På terrassen var det muligt at flytte sig ift sol og vejr, samt sidde i god ly for regn.

A very warm & perfect stay from all perspectives. We’ll be back
Pros:

The property is centrally located; you can easily walk into town and close to lift. The apartment has everything you need (kitchen appliances, towels, snow shovel, etc) and then some (board games, books)! The decor is quaint & cozy.

Christian is a very warm host & very knowledgeable about the area (and skiing/ snowboarding) and there to help with any request

A great apartment in a great location, for both skiing and bars & restaurants, and very good value.
Pros:

The apartment is relatively small, but worked really well for the three of us. The kitchen facilities were really good, the rooms were clean, and a good bathroom. The location is excellent, being just over a five minute walk from the top end of the town (the smart Cube hotel & bar and the excellent Villa Masianco restaurant). Perfectly placed too to access the St Johann ski area, and easy access to the wider Kitzbuhel ski area. The host, Christian, was very helpful.

Cons:

The only issue is that the apartment is accessed up quite a (short) steep hill to the right of the St Johann home run, which I imagine could be quite challenging in adverse weather conditions. It was clear of snow whilst we were there, so we had no issues with getting the car to & fromn the apartment. It was quite icy, so we had to take care when walking in to town in the evenings. Good winter tyres for the car, and suitable footwear will negate any issues. Again, we had a great stay here, but some people may find this a bit more of a challenge than we did.

Pros:

The location was great just 5 minutes from Sankt Johann city center.
10 minutes to the train.
3 minutes to the cable car
Right on the path if you want to walk up to Kitzbuhelhorn.
Fantastic view over the Wilderkaiser mountains.
We did not expect such a great pool area. The pool was big enough for a good swim and we got towels to use in the pool (great). The garden was also large with a lot of sunbeads.
Balcony with afternoon sun.

Cons:

A little bit tricky waste sort routines. I recommend that the owners create a little written description because it's easy to forget what one is told at arrival. But the host (son) was very friendly at the arrival, and gave us info about hiking trails we actually used.

A great hotel for families with an amazing view!
Pros:

We had a lovely time at the hotel. The 3 bedroom layout with a bathtub was very practical for our family (kids age 5&2). The kids loved swimming in the pool, jumping on the trampoline, table tennis and playing in the yard. My husband and I enjoyed the spectacular view of the mountains. We enjoyed having breakfast & happy hour on the huge balcony. The hotel is in a great location - walking distance to the cable car, restaurants & shops in St Johann. Christian & his family were very kind & responsive. We had a lovely time and will be back next time we are in Austria!
