City Life Port Hotel

Sadly, this review does not allow me to highlight some of the actual benefits of this property.
The greeting was amazing the place as a fantastic façade and very inviting, but sadly, the rooms are very dated, and there is housekeeping products all over the floors.
The rooms are extremely dated and the crew covers are disgusting and should be replaced immediately.
It was what I required, which is absolutely location to the port for an early morning ferry.
It did not help the strikes on time whilst this is not the Hotel’s fault. It did add sadly to the dissatisfaction.

This hotel is good for two things, Sleeping and showering. The rooms are teeny tiny. The "Free Internet" is non-existent. The coffee shop in the lobby is twice as much as the coffee shops two doors down. A/C works great though. Very close to airport and Port where the cruise ships come in. It is clean.

Staff at check-in was wonderful! So kind and friendly. The room itself was outdated and in need of some serious updating. A fine place to stay for one night that is close to the port though.

We stay in this property every year, prices are always good and hospitality at high level. Ideal choice in Heraklion city!

The best choice for accommodation in Heraklion.. perfect location, staff always willing to serve. There is a snack bar at the accommodation for food and drinks.. simply perfect.

We stayed for 3 nights, great hotel and very clean. The property is close to center and port, its easy to park and find good restaurants around!

The hotel was awful. The rooms were in terrible condition, with minimal cleanliness and no soundproofing – we could hear everything from the neighboring rooms. The fridge only worked occasionally, and the sheets were changed just once during our entire stay. When we made complaints, the response we got was, “Take your complaints to the mayor.”

The staff were rude, especially the behavior of the owner, who had no problem yelling over the phone for any reason – even just because we were talking or laughing, which is completely normal when you’re traveling with friends.

Throughout our stay, the staff’s behavior never improved. The experience was truly disappointing, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Great location for ferry port and central bus station access, but a bit of a walk from the main city center. Also not very many dining or shopping options in the immediate area.

They waited for my late arrival. It was very close to ferry port which I appreciated.

The room was small but spotless and the bed was very comfortable. I found a great Taverna 5 minutes walk away and it's 5 min from the bus station and 10 min walk from the Port

Great staff and comfortable mattress

It s a budget hotel centrally located close to the port. It is not boutique by any stretch of the imagination. It is small, clean and adequate for a budget conscious traveler.

Was suitable for one night as close to airport and early flight in the morning. Friendly staff. No complaints.
