We stayed here as part of the festival package and it was pure luxury compared to a tent. The lobby is bright, clean and modern and we had a top notch meal in the bar/ restaurant on the first evening.
The bedroom was dated with some signs of wear and tear, but also clean, albeit basic. The beds were comfortable and the area around the hotel is pleasant.
The shower water was mostly lukewarm to cold, with no consistent hot water. Breakfast was a compact buffet including a few cooked and continental options.
I found the staff pleasant and helpful.

Reception very good, problem solved immediately.

Standaard hotel, gewoon ontbijt, basis kamer, goede bedden, kleine maar goede en reine badkamer. Zeer goede parkeerplaats.

V ceně pokoje měla být snídaně - dostalo se mi vysvětlení, že restaurace je z nařízení vlády zavřená. Hloupost. Ostatní hotely mají snídani. Každopádně - pokud bych to věděla, připravila bych se na situaci. Takto jsem byla bez večeře a bez snídaně.
O čistotě WC by se rovněž dalo diskutovat ... prostě jsou hotely, kam se člověk nevrací. I kdyby to měl být ten poslední v Hradci!

Der Blick aus dem 6. Stock über die Stadt war toll. Das Frühstück war üppig und gut. Wir haben keine Nobel-Unterkunft erwartet oder gebucht, bis auf die fehlende Klima-Anlage (tagsüber 31 Grad draußen!) war es voll OK.

I've stayed here many times visiting family. It's a very basic clean hotel with very pleasant staff. The lack of air conditioning could be an issue as summers seem to be hotter and hotter every year. There is a bus stop next to the hotel to go to the main train and bus station. Also there is a typical Czech pub on each corner. Thanks.

Especially don’t eat on the hotel restaurant it’s a disappointment. Ordered salmon with vegetable that was clearly not fresh but also done with vinegar and somehow really disgusting 🙈 The rooms are not equipped for 3 stars.

Friendly staff, the rooms were clean. Overall the hotel is good. I'll return for a visit next year and stay here again.

Considering the sizes of the city, this is a quite nice but overpriced hotel with clean refurbished rooms, friendly staff, tasty breakfasts and all the necessary facilities. Location is not in the central part, but not critical.

Alessandria is one of the only hotels in Hradec Kralove and they take full advantage. The room rates are steep (I can find a place in the capital for similar prices). The hotel is rather dated (bathrooms and windows seem to have been recently updated), but otherwise the hotel feels like it was build in the 80s and hasn't been touched since. Also the wireless is basically useless so don't plan to use it for business purposes. The best part of the hotel was the staff. They were always very helpful with calling a taxi or anything else that was needed.

I booked this hotel for two nights and strictly used just for sleeping and breakfast. Breakfast was highlight of the stay. Hotel was not bad 20 years ago, unfortunately not much changed since then. At the corridors was strange smell. Room was kind of nice, but aged.
Cleaning lady did not do a much work in my room. Staff at reception was OK, but not perfect. You have to pay for parking separately and cash only
If there will be next time, I will rather look for another place.

I won't recommend this hotel to anyone, bad service, WIFI did not get into our room and the service by 2 of the staff members was beyond poor. I would rather stay in a tent.

The hotel is just plain bad.

The breakfast with the food situated around the stripper pole sort of gives it away.

The blonde lady at check in was miserable and unhelpful. The rest of the girls at the front desk were really nice and apologetic throughout the stay because they know how bad the hotel is.

The manager, Lukas, has no idea what he is doing and doesn't take any responsibility for the poor operation of the hotel and isn't willing to fix it, then blames the customer. My room was not cleaned once in 5 nights! I called reception after 3 nights and told them, a lady came to the door shortly after, didn't say a word, handed me 2 towels, went into the bathroom and picked up the used towels, emptied the bin and left. I told them again the next day and they said they've been having a lot of trouble with the cleaners and know that none of the rooms get cleaned but the manager won't fix it.

Also, don't get your laundry done. Expensive, and they stain your clothes. I got mine back and the clothes smelled like chemicals with 2 white shirts having yellow stains on the collar. I called Lukas as told by reception and he said they would rewash them. One came back clean and the other with the marks less apparent but still there. They sent that back again and came back nearly all gone but not quite. At check out, Lukas said the marks must have been there already because it wasn't their laundry that did it! Absolute joke. I told him I wanted a discounted rate because of the laundry mess and no housekeeping for the entire stay but Lukas said I'd have to send a complaint in writing and he would take it to the director.

Absolutely appalling customer service and to blame me for not asking enough times for house keeping (wish I was kidding) and saying the shirts being stained was my fault makes this the worst hotel I've ever stayed in.

Stayed 3 nights unfortunately. Here are the things that really made this a bad experience. Hopefully hotel management takes this seriously

- room was only cleaned once
- the sink so small I could barely wash my hands
- internet keeps breaking up
-TV only Czech. Some international but grainy black and white blur
- hair dryer only on request (bad on first morning!)
- bathroom dirty
- dust everywhere
- beside a big road--> noisy

I could go on but you'll get the idea
For this money you get much better places in HK!

Staff were friendly and spoke very good English which was positive, the restaurant was nice enough and the food was pretty good. The room however, was very poorly equipped: no bedside lamps, only one socket which I couldn't get to to charge my devices, no tea/coffee making facilities, no bottled water, very hard beds as the mattress wasn't sprung and the Base was solid wood (no slats), no shampoo or shower gel, not even a bar of soap to wash your hands after using the toilet and finally, although not an issue for me, the windows were able to be opened fully, as I was on the 7th floor, I wouldn't have been happy if I had children with me.

If you are from Russia / Kazakhstan or CIS countries, please don't enter the doors of this hotel. The staff will say you directly "We don't like you!". If you are from Western Europe / America, you'll be friendly and smiling welcomed!

Starting the reception and including restaurant and cleaning services you'll find the people with the words "NO" and lying!

The room was not cleaned within 4 days!!!

We asked not to have pork meat during breakfasts and got the answer "it's impossible, and nobody can help you".

Internet is of very low quality!

The only man who is adequate and ready to help was the General manager of the hotel who was helpful and ready to listen to the customer.

If you have a chance to be in another hotel in Hradez Hralove, do it!
