Cozy place for a decent price.
Pros:

Vintage interior, very good location, cozy room, kind staff.

Cons:

Even though we were informed before our stay that there will be some scaffolding and paint works occurring, we didn't expect drilling and hammering sounds at 7 am. It was impossible to rest.

Pros:

The location is perfect for when arriving by train and all major attractions are within 30 mins walking distance. Breakfast is buffet self-service with plenty of choice and plenty to eat. The room was simple but clean and comfortable.

Quirky, friendly base camp.
Pros:

Everything you need as a comfortable base to explore Amsterdam. Really friendly staff, great facilities and a good breakfast. Comfy beds and clean . Love the train theme, so much to look at.

Cons:

If im being picky then typical Amsterdam stairs are very steep but the lift is fast and quiet. The walls are a bit thin so can hear neighbouring rooms if they are laughing or dancing about but was never a problem early or late on.. so I really am just being picky!

Fun, charming stay in a super convenient location
Pros:

The location is great, right across from Amsterdam Centraal station. We were able to leave the station and walk three minutes to get there. It’s a European hotel - small, efficient rooms, but the theme and decor of the bottom floor was really charming and fun. The staff was great as well. The breakfast was good, though nothing exciting (hey, included hotel breakfast, it is what it is), but it did the trick and was tasty. Don’t put the raisin bread through the toaster!

Cons:

It’s a European hotel: rooms are small, bathroom is small, hallways are small, but for the price and location, it was great!
