Nice but did not love the food

Beautiful and clean modern hotel. Activities for small children. We arrived on the weekend so there were no workshops for the kids. The food was not to our taste.Maby because we are not from Germany.

Flies all over the food. Disgusting.

There were flies everywhere. All over the lobby, the kids play area, the dining area, and the food bar. Completely unsanitary. If I knew how to make a complaint to the Austrian Health Ministry I would. Excuses ranged from claiming not to notice, to blaming it on the season, to asserting the hotel had tried everything even though I never saw one fan, barrier, or other attempt to protect the food. We paid a lot of money to stay at this all-inclusive hotel and had to choose carefully what we ate, and still felt disgusted. The amount of flies was similar to what I see in third world countries. Embarrassing and unsanitary.
The staff was also not knowledgeable. The man at reception told us our room was most easily accessed by the main elevator. After searching every floor, it turns out our room was in a completely different building.
The same man, when asked about pony rides for my daughter, gave us the information for the partner property that had animals to interact with and ponies to ride. He failed to mention pony rides were not available that day. Probably a piece of information we could have used. I understand language barriers, and this was not that.
We will not return here.

Fint familiehotel der ligger godt i forhold til skiområdet i Flachau. Meget serviceminded reception som er behjælpelig med det meste. Flot værelse med rummelighed og gode faciliteter. Dejlig mad i restauranten som er veltilberedt - dog kunne serviceniveauet i restauranten forbedres, da tjenerne har meget travlt og det bliver desværre upersonligt.

Das Zimmer war für uns 3 Damen ein warer Alptraum, ein grindiges, altes Badezimmer mit 1 miniwaschbecken und Mini Badewanne, altes WC, einfach pfui. Und für sowas Knöpfen die einem 730 Euro ab für 2 Nächte. Wir sind sowas von enttäuscht.

Pros:

Skønt ophold - tæt på mange gode familie aktiviteter som riverrafting og High-rope-klatring!
Hotellet er rent og pænt. Maden er udemærket. Buffeten (morgen, aften og eftermiddag) er ikke så spændende og kunne trænge til lidt nytænkning og opgradering! Den serverede mad er klart bedre.
Børnene var glade for at bade i poolen samt i den nærliggende badesø

Klasse Hotel mit vielen Angeboten für Kinder

Klasse für einen Winterurlaub mit Kindern. Kleiner Hang direkt neben dem Hotel, Skigebiet Flachau nur 5 Minuten Fahrt entfernt, Bus-Service zum Rodeln. Kinderbetreuung haben wir nicht genutzt, aber mit Babylounge inkl. Küche, Kaufmannsladen, Bällebad etc., Indoor-Rutsche, kleiner Kletterwand, Tischtennis-Platte, Schwimmbad, Familiensauna, Kinder-Kino und ausleihbaren Spielen war genug geboten für unseren 3-jährigen. Top ist der Spielraum direkt neben dem Restaurant-Bereich - sobald unser Kleiner gegessen hatte war er verschwunden. Essen und Auswahl sind ebenfalls klasse, auch für Veganer ist etwas dabei und auf Unverträglichkeiten wird Rücksicht genommen.

Familieskiferie med høj komfort - så vælg Felsenhof.
Dejligt stort værelse med separate rum - rengøring upåklagelig.
Dejlig restaurant med venligt personale og god mad - vi havde 1/2 pension.
Eftermiddags kaffe m. kage - skønt efter dag på ski.
Mange børn og støj i pool, men sådan er det - fred til de voksne i wellness område.
Dejlig ferie for alle - fire personer, heriblandt to teenagere på 14 og 19.

Family friendly, great breakfast and great staff!
Pros:

Great for skiing, the bus stop is right in front of hotel. Can recommend family apartments but rooms also great. Kids loved the playroom. Separate pool and spa for kids where they could play without disturbing those wanting to relax. Excellent breakfast! Dinner always good with plenty on the salad bar and good variability on the menu.
