It was an exceptional stay at Petra Sella Hotel. The entire team is very welcoming and did everything to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The hotel is well located and drive to Petra Visitors Centre is just 5 minutes. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great Hotel in Wadi Musa
Pros:

The staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming, they accepted my request to change my arrival date and they made sure I got the best room available. Everything was clean, dinner was excellent and they gave me extra food to visit the site as a gift. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very well equipped. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Cons:

Hotels in Wadi Musa are a bit far from the site and uphill. But this is no problem because the hotel offers rides to and from the visitor center! Just make sure you communicate it to them in advance.

Not quite “4 stars” and over-inflated ratings
Pros:

Fair price, delicious food, close proximity to Petra, helpful staff (but read more below for the rest of the story)

Cons:

I wouldn’t complain, since it’s very reasonable in price, but don’t expect 4 stars as advertised as 4 stars, with one of the stars literally crooked on the façade. In our 2 rooms, 3 out of 4 electrical outlets didn’t work. The staff are friendly, they shower you with huge gift bags, but when we went to check out, one of the staff rather aggressively took our mobile phone and pulled up the Booking app, seemingly about to give himself a score of 10 when I took the phone back. He said, please give us a 10, and it’s very important to do so before 8am to boost our rating. He kept pushing until I said, “How about an 11!” just to get away.
