Casa Wagner Brasov

A nice hotel. Our room was a little dark (compared to that of our friends) and our bathroom was tiny (again, compared to our friends). Nice enough for a couple of nights, though. It is in the heart of the main square and is very convenient. 10 mins ride from the Brasov train station (TIP: ring an Uber because they're less than half the price of a taxi that you can just pick up outside the station).

My wife and I stayed for three nights in Casa Wagner. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Prior to our arrival, communication with the hotel was excellent, they responded quickly to questions that we asked. We requested a room in a quiet part of the hotel and we were given a room which looked over a courtyard rather than the square.

Perfect - it was very quiet and we were able to sleep well.
The room was not furnished to a high standard but that didn't matter as we didn't spend much time in the room. It was just a base for us so it was just the right size for us. It was comfortable, especially the bed, with a pleasant little balcony with a table and two chairs.
The location of the hotel could not have been better - right on the Piata Sfatului and within walking distance of the interesting places to visit in the centre.
The bathroom was very spacious and it had a great shower.
The only slightly downside of the room was the poor wifi reception. However, in an old building it isn't surprising.
Breakfast was excellent - something for everyone including fried and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages along with cereals, salad items, cheese, ham etc etc. A large choice. We really enjoyed the breakfast and it set us up for the day.
Good value for money.

A good choice in a great central location. My room kept being mistaken for the door to the restaurant, which meant people kept trying to get in during the evening dinner period and morning breakfast time. Maybe move the sign next to the door so it is clearer!!!! Otherwise a very decent stay.

Die Lage direkt am Marktplatz war ausgezeichnet. Die Sehenswürdigkeiten der Altstadt liegen quasi um die Ecke. Eine zentrale Bushaltestelle u. a. für die Linie vom/zum Bahnhof ist fünf Minuten entfernt. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Einrichtung war sehr sauber und gepflegt.

Very central location , big rooms , old hotel and charming. Beds were noisy and so the floor when someone walked above us and outside the room.

Skvělá lokalita a pokoje s výhledem přímo na náměstí.

Posizione meravigliosa proprio sulla piazza principale. L'edificio è antico e ristrutturato con molte travi e scale in legno e si sviluppa in alto su più piani. Sembra di essere in un castello.

Ubicación inmejorable, en el entorno de las atracciones turísticas. Habitación limpia y con todo lo necesario, además de bonita. Buen desayuno (aunque yo le pondría algo más de dulce y fruta). En el restaurante te hacen descuento y se cena bien. Personal amable (nos ayudaron con las maletas hasta la habitación al llegar)
