Erivolos Hotel Apartments

Quiet small hotel w. only 9 rooms. Very well kept. Nice pool and view. Beds are quite hard. Only objection is that you can only breakfast, but no lunch or dinner.

We loved Lisa the owner who went out of her way to make our experience smooth and enjoyable. Walkable to lygaria beach and agia pelagia.

Emplacement, accueil, vue, petit déjeuner maison, piscine. Idéal pour passer 2 ou 3 nuits. Merci à Liza la propriétaire.

Unser Aufenthalt war leider nur kurz, hat aber einen ausgezeichneten Eindruck bei uns hinterlassen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr kompetent. Wir haben außerdem das am Abend servierte Abendessen sehr genossen und kommen ganz bestimmt gerne wieder.

A stay at Erivolos os always a pleasure. Great hosts, amazing views, fantastic food. Will definitely be going back again next year.

Our room was clean, the pool area was nice and well maintained, the owners were so cute and friendly and they even cooked their guests a delicious Greek meal! I would absolutely stay here again. However, I would recommend renting a car if you have the option! It’s a steep walk to get back to the hotel after going to town, but it makes a dip in the pool feel even better!

Arrived after late flight and greeted by the owner . Clean tidy and well equipped room with seating outside to admire the view of the village and beach below lit up . Rooms have well equipped min kitchen area with fridge and cooker and cleaning stuff supplied .

Stayed a few weeks in June 19.
Taxi from Airport €35.
After a few days realised car hire was necessary as no local buses were running and very hilly landscape.
Good location for quiet and relaxing holiday.
Ligaria relatively quiet 1 good taverna.
Agia Pelagia more tavernas and more holiday makers- although these tended to be locals.
Overall would reccomend.

We almost exclusively use Hotels.com to book our stays whenever we travel. This little couple run boutique hotel was simply charming! The food and terrace with the gorgeous views, is a terrific amenity. They do the cooking and it is sis superb! Room 7 had a large balcony overlooking the bay down the hill. We could not have enjoyed that more! The pool is spotless and sits up high to enjoy views all around you. We got some of our best night sleep there too. You can walk down the hill to the local beach, it is lovely. This is a come back to destination for us!

The location by the beach is exceptional. The area was calm and perfect for a relaxing stay. Our hosts were incredibly warm and welcomed us with big smiles, including the cleaning staff as well.

Only 20 mins by car from Iraklion. Highly recommended and will come back again.

A wonderful family who make you feel at home, always a smile on their face. Always asking you if your day went well and look after you like you are their family. The home cooked food that Lisa makes is lovely. The view is amazing and so peaceful.

Nice spacious room (we were in a studio triple, though for two people). Air con good, balcony with view over Lygaria was fabulous. You need a car for this location. Breakfast tasty, fresh - but not so wide a selection if that’s important to you - and you have facilities in room for food preparation anyway. Most importantly, we arrived very late (thanks easyJet!) and still we were warmly welcomed and settled. A lovely place, highly recommended.

Ruhig, idyllisch gelegenes Appartement-Hotel, oberhalb der Bucht von Lygaria, mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Für Ferien an diesem Ort ist ein Mietauto empfehlenswert.
Der Leiter dieser Appartements und seine Frau sind äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, sich von diesen zwei Gastgebern mit griechischem 3-Gänge-Menue zum Abendessen verwöhnen zu lassen. Anmeldung dazu ist jeweils bis 14.00 möglich.
Zimmer, Betten und Toiletten/Dusche waren sauber.
Von Lygaria aus sind Heraklion und Rethymnon mit dem Auto in ca. 30 Minuten erreichbar, Chania in ca. 90 Minuten. Es ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt sowohl für Ausflüge in die Berge, an sehr schöne Badestrände und zu Sehenswürdigkeiten.

We wanted to thank Vasilis and Lisa for their excellent hospitality during our stay at Erivolos Hotel Apartments. They could not have made us feel more welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them in making us feel at home. The rooms, cafe area, pool and surrounds were always very clean and impeccably presented. Lisa offered simple yet lovely home-cooked breakfasts and very tasty snacks and salads at lunchtimes. Moreover, on occasional evenings during the week, Lisa produced truly outstanding traditional set meals which were fabulous and absolutely delicious. Furthermore these were complemented by Vasilis's own organic wines, olive oil and liqueurs which were wonderful.
Vasilis and Lisa are undoubtedly very special people and run a very special place in Lygaria. Whilst the weather might have been cloudy during our week's stay, Vasilis's and Lisa's such warm welcome to Erivolos certainly made up for it and we very much enjoyed our stay. We would certainly love to go back sometime; it's just a case of when.

Excellent hotel in particular the family owners who couldn't do enough for us. Great view of the bay from the room balcony. Nice private pool, not busy, and a great place to relax during the day. The family cook a special meal every couple of days and most of the guests join in and enjoy the evening together. Nice walk down (and slightly slower climb back) to the small beach, not crowded, with a few restaurant/cafe/bars, and a supermarket. A great discovery and we will probably return next year.

Wunderschönes Hotel, wirklich sehr freundliche Familie, die das Haus führt. Essen ist auch sehr gut und natürlich ist der Blick über die Bucht einfach nur wunderschön. Werde definitiv das Haus weiter empfehlen und auch selbst wieder hinfahren. Einfach nur spitzenklasse.
