The location was great and had a great view
The room wasn’t ready on time
The staff was great, the room was comfy. My kids enjoyed their stay. My second time staying at the Royal Sonesta River North, no hotel is perfect but this one tries to come close and it’s appreciated. Outdoor patio on the 17th floor is a great place for evening drinks.
The bathroom walls had some reddish stains by the shaving mirror, not an biggie, looked like maybe someone had a lipstick mishap. But the flat sheet on the bed had some old stain on it, looked like brownish, faded smudges of some sort. Kinda unsettling once I saw it, but didn’t notice it until I was packing for departure so whatever it was, I slept with that. 😖
What a great hotel. Everything was perfect during our whole stay. The team at the reception desk is very friendly and helpful. The room is very comfy, great bed. The location is also awesome. Just at the side of the Magnificient Mile, walking distance to the riverwalk, a Red Line subway station just a few steps away and lots of restaurants, bars and even a great jazz club. Undoubtedly a wonderful option for a stay in Chicago.
Close to river walk and major attractions. Architectural boat tour was exceptional. Michigen river and Navy pier tour was also a great experience.

El personal de recepción fue muy amable para atendernos, fui por el concierto de BTS. Los chicos notaron que ibamos para el concierto y nos regalaron una botella de vino para relajarnos al regreso. Tambien cuidaron nuestras maletas luego de hacer check out, ya que nuetsro vuelo salia hasta en la noche y asi pudimos disfrutar de nuestro ultimo dia en la ciudad sin andar cargandolas de un lado a otro.
La cama es demasiado suave para mi gusto. Y en la bañera podrian poner un tapete antiderrapante ya que al entrar si estaba resvaloso y el barandal esta muy alejado para tomarlo desde antes de meterse a la bañera
