Good stay, excellent customer service
Pros:

Overall, I had a good stay at the Royal Sonesta Chicago River North. The location was excellent and made it easy to get to restaurants, shopping, and many of Chicago’s attractions.

The room was comfortable, but it wasn’t as modern as I expected, and I did notice it was a little dusty in a few areas. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but I think the housekeeping could pay a bit more attention to detail.

The highlight of my stay was definitely the staff. A special shoutout to Antwonne, who was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my stay. I also want to recognize T in the CBR restaurant for being so friendly, attentive, and providing excellent service.

Overall, despite a few minor issues with the room, I enjoyed my stay and would consider staying here again because of the convenient location and outstanding customer service.

Would definitely recommend this hotel and visit there again
Pros:

It was very central close to the blue line at central and lake. Easy transfer link on the train to and from the airport. The staff were friendly and gave directions to sights and recommendations, the room was very clean and spacious, the shower and bathroom facilities were excellent

Cons:

Would have liked tea and coffee in the room. It was served in the ground floor area in the morning but like to be able to relax anytime with a cup of tea.
The bed Fra had a really wide wooden frame that I walked in to a couple of times. We ended up moving the mattress to cover it.

No luggage rack in room. Had to put luggage on bed to unload and pack. Not cool. Also asked for a handicapped room. It was not. Could not take a shower or bath. No grab bars!
