I understand it's a very old hotel, with remodeled areas, but they weren't offered to me, even though there was room. Outside, there's SO MUCH noise, and all day and all night, between street vendors and the commuter train, it kept me awake. The outside is terrible, with too many homeless people and fruit carts parked everywhere, blocking access to the parking lot. The parking lot is a real, unlit cave, very intimidating. I definitely don't recommend it and wouldn't stay there again. They should at least post all this on the page where I made the reservation so there aren't any surprises.

The property needs renovations and painting. It's an old hotel, but it doesn't smell bad. Given the hotel's history, they should maintain it better and improve or update the facilities. I always felt safe inside the property, it has a spectacular view of the historic center.

The hotel it is in a good location for a day walk to downtown and shopping but at night is not too good for for a kids stay or even adults walk, the hotel needs a lot of renovations it’s old and dirty seems like they don’t take care of it, there is no a parking spot for free available, there is a parking charge next door to the hotel .. the WiFi is not good at all, we didn’t have any connection the days we were there only on the lobby first floor .. need a a lot of renovations and attention for the owner ..

Pros:

You will be staying in the equivalent of Hollywood Tower of Terror. Hallways have no lights and only turn on when it senses motion. The window was broken (could not close. I only heard street and trains. Could not sleep), Toilet did not flush. It was very clean though. Smells old. Good breakfast. Staff so so.

I wanted to visit plaza botero which i heard was a sketchy area. The hotel in next to it and a great place to stay. It was clean and secure and the staff very helpful. Made me feel much safer and relaxed
