This place would only pass as an ok 3 star or a bad 4 star hotel. Falls way short of expectations.
Pros:

Location within Cairo is decent depending on your itinerary. Room service club sandwich was tasty.

Cons:

Rooms are dated. A/c wasn’t properly working in one of the rooms although it wasn’t a major problem as this time we switched it off during the night. You have to pay for parking which I expect should be included as this was not advised beforehand. I asked for an iron, I was given a cheap plastic heating device that leaks everywhere if you fill it with water. Housekeeping was awful- the beds clearly needed the sheets changed but they managed to reuse the sheets anyway. Quality of shower/bath soaps were not good. Toilet spray was faulty.

Cons:

The Hotel insisted we pay in USD for the base rate charged as per the amount on Booking.com and refused to accept local currency. The other expenses in the Hotel restaurants were paid in local currency.

Very poor
Pros:

My designer ring I left on the bathroom counter disappeared after we returned from the day on 24 May 2026. We also noticed missing euro notes from the safe. This is not acceptable and not to the standard of a 5 star of any sorts. Will avoid this brand moving forward
