Wonderful stay!
Pros:

Modernly and tastefully decorated hotel, with great spa facilities (if a little busy!) and exceptional breakfast spread! The hotel is also conveniently located near the slopes and the town centre. Great and helpful staff.

Locatie, dicht bij de piste. Wel rumoerige apresski bar aan de overkant. Hinderend wanneer je aan de voorkant van het hotel ligt

4am partying, no night staff at all, and police had to be called – avoid if you want a quiet stay
Pros:

The hotel is centrally located in Zell am See and the room itself was spacious as we were staying in a deluxe suite.

Cons:

Our second night was severely disrupted by a party in the room next door with around eight people. Loud music and shouting started around 1:00am and continued for hours.

At around 2:00am I went to reception to report the noise but there was no staff present and the hotel phone line was not working. I even knocked on the neighbouring door to ask them to turn the music down but was ignored.

By 4:00am the noise was still ongoing and, with no way to contact the hotel, I had to call the police who arrived and shut the party down within minutes.

The hotel later confirmed they do not operate a night shift. For a 4-star hotel this is frankly crazy and potentially unsafe, as there is no staff available overnight to deal with disturbances or emergencies.

The following morning reception said the manager would call to discuss a solution, possibly something like a spa treatment, but no call ever came. Later we returned to the room to find a €9 bottle of wine left with a note, and nothing further was mentioned when we checked out.

Aside from the noise issue, the mattresses were also very worn with deep indents and clearly need replacing.

Overall the hotel felt more like a party hotel than a 4-star property and we were disappointed by how the situation was handled, especially given we were staying in a deluxe suite.

Prima hotel op perfecte locatie
Pros:

Erg vriendelijk personeel. Mooie kamers en onze hond werd erg leuk welkom geheten. Kwamen gelijk bij aankomst met water aan.

Heerlijk verblijf voor een week wintersport!

A really enjoyable and relaxing hotel stay for my family
Pros:

Very friendly and helpful staff. Location is on edge of Old Town area so very handy for shopping, browsing, drinking and cafe stops. Buses linking with all lift areas and regional towns just 150m away. Nearest lift about 350m away up a slight hill, Very good range of options in breakfast buffet. Excellent range of evening meal options each day and varied over the week. Swimming pool and spa facilities excellent.

Cons:

Breakfast buffet room was a bit too small for the volume of people trying to use it all at once. A problem that probably only exists at half term and Xmas when everyone is trying to get the first ski life to miss the worst of the queues
