Our stay overall was very pleasant.
Pros:

Breakfast good
Location good

Cons:

Sunbed situation not good, people should not be allowed to reserve sunbed s this really was the only reason I would probably not come back.

Amazing hotel in Agia Paraskevi, beautiful facilities and views
Pros:

The architecture of this hotel is stunning. It is in an excellent location with a few restaurants and supermarket just down the road.

The staff are amazing! Always friendly and happy to help.

The hotel is very clean and the cakes/pastries at breakfast are great.

Nikos makes the best Pineapple daiquiris and the atmosphere around the pool is lovely!

This was our second visit at this hotel and we will be returning

Cons:

A suggestion would be to add a few more light bites to the lunch menu, however the food on the menu is delicious.

Disappointing end to our holiday certainly over priced for what we got.
Pros:

The pool area was good and breakfast was a
standard buffet style with plenty of choice and the servers were excellent.

Cons:

Our room was worse than premier inn standards, it was depressing with very little out look and a balcony you could struggle to swing a cat, the air conditioning was old and very noisy as well as a small fridge stuck in the corner making it's intermittent noises. There was nothing luxury about it we discovered that due to the commitment to travel companies the rooms allocated to booking.com were the dregs no one else wanted, our room was probably the worse in the hotel. The other disappointment was the evening meal was also buffet style help yourself so we ate out.

Nice location but expensive
Pros:

Great location. Bus stops right outside hotel. Short walk to tavernas. But we preferred getting short bus trip to Skaithos Town for drinks and dinner. 10 minute walk over the road and down short path through trees to gorgeous beach. Bus service is very good to either end of the island.
Very nice hotel architecturally. Our room had a sea view but outside are was often in shade. So room was a bit dark. Also low down and hedge against balcony had lots of biting bugs. Try and get room higher up towards pool area. Walk up to breakfast could be awkward if you are fit and healthy. Lots of stairs as hotel is built on a steep slope.
Atmosphere is very quiet. Couples over 50 generally. No children or families at all. Some people like that but we like a mix of ages.
Never had to pay deposit for pool towels before. Very odd. 20 Euros each. Only refunded a week after we had returned to UK!!!
Breakfast area lovely outside by the pool. Staff very good and attentive. BUT breakfast we felt was disappointing compared to other hotels in Greece at a similar level. Poor choice. Often not topped up. Not 4****.
We didn’t eat in the evening at the hotel as we wanted to go into Skiathos Town. So can’t comment. However other guests did comment that food was OK but expensive.
Overall we felt it was expensive and we have had better value at other similar spec hotels in Greece.

Going back next year!
Pros:

We stayed with our kids aged 7 and 11, it was their first holiday involving a plane. We all loved Skiathos and the hotel location near a fab selection of restaurants. The room was modern and clean, not huge for 4 but all good and comfy beds and a nice sized balcony (we paid for sea view which is worth it). The pool area is lovely and the view amazing. Breakfast was good, nothing that exciting, but nice and it slovely to eat out on by the pool in the sun. Put it this way........ last week I booked somewhere else in Skiathos for May 2026 because it was cheaper and yesterday after 2 sleepless nights I have paid a lot extra to change back to Atrium for 2026!!! I am much happier now and can't wait to go back! My only small 'fault' is that the hotel is very quiet in the evening.... not really people sat in the bar until late, but that was May so maybe later in the season it gets going. That was ok - because there are so many restaurants very close by.

A true gem in Skiathos where genuine hospitality still exists
Pros:

I have been visiting the Atrium Hotel for almost a decade now, nearly every summer except for the Covid year. This is a place that truly evolves year after year, constantly improving while remaining faithful to its authentic spirit. The rooms are beautifully renovated with elegant design and attention to detail, combining comfort with a sense of place and respect for the island’s architecture. The linens, pillows and mattresses are of excellent quality and always renewed, ensuring a truly comfortable stay. Everything is spotless, from the rooms and pool to the common areas, all maintained with an impressive level of care. And if you happen to be there on a night of full moon, the view alone is worth the journey.
Breakfast is a real pleasure, rich, varied and full of fresh local ingredients. Every morning there is something new to try, from fresh juices and proper coffee to homemade jams, warm pastries and beautifully ripe seasonal fruits, often sourced from local gardens. The staff and management are the true heart of this hotel, unfailingly polite, attentive and genuinely caring, always ready to go the extra mile. From the waiter to the management, it is evident that people come first here, not wallets. I still remember one morning when I felt unwell; their response was immediate, thoughtful and genuinely kind. That kind of empathy and hospitality is rare the very essence of philoxenia.
Over the years I have collected countless memories from this place: the unforgettable BBQ nights, the classical music concerts with visiting ensembles from across Europe, the evenings with live Greek music and that breathtaking view, the calm atmosphere around the pool bar with its perfectly chilled beer, the delicious lunch options at the taverna and the carefully curated dinner buffet filled with Mediterranean flavours and generous variety. The moussaka still remains one of the best I have ever had anywhere in Greece.
I would wholeheartedly recommend the Atrium Hotel to anyone visiting Skiathos. It represents warmth, professionalism and true elegance. Real hospitality does not need to announce itself it simply speaks for itself.

P.S. It is rather disappointing to see a few individuals using review platforms as leverage for discounts or refunds. A review should be written to help a place grow, not to harm those who work tirelessly to make your stay exceptional.

Dreadful, not a 4 star, flies on breakfast, dungeon rooms
Pros:

Looks lovely from the outside but do not be fooled
Dreadful reservation person Dimitra who should not be in this position however looking at other bad reviews, the company always makes excuses for him and doesn’t care about guest experience. Booked and paid over £1000 GBP for a 5 night stay, we left after 2 nights and have been refused a refund even though the hotel resold the room.
Rooms are awful, felt like dungeon, sewage smells, cleaning poor, no water like most 4 star hotels and in particular the staff are rude and unhelpful especially Dimitra who basically called us liars when we had booked a pool suite only to be told no we hadn’t. Before arrival we were offered to move to that room the following day, however when we asked, we were then told no we don’t have one and if you want to upgrade we have to pay more money!
Breakfast was a sham, flies on food, no fresh egg station, staff incapable dropping large trays of crockery and just walking off, no apologies.
We have just stayed 4 weeks at a Hotel in Phuket and in comparison the Atrium is like Guantanamo Bay.
Prior to staying at the Atrium we spent a week at The Skiathos Holiday resort and can highly recommend there.
Dreadful place where they essentially stole our money and refused to refund when we checked out early.
Also experienced discrimination.
If you want a 4 star experience, do NOT stay at the Atrium.
Shocking, poor service, dirty poorly maintained rooms li8e dungeons with the added sewage smells as a bonus.

Not sure this hotel was a true 4* hotel.
Pros:

As lots of other people have commented, the hotel decor was quite amazing and well thought out. Staff were very friendly and courteous. However, I do think that the hotel really misses that extra touch, particularly as it’s rated 4*. I’d forgotten to take a shower cap, for instance, so my husband went to ask (as there wasn’t one in the bathroom). He was told, sorry we don’t supply them. However, a knock on the door half an hour later and they had found one. Also, you only got complimentary water on the first day. For the rest of the week we had to find a supermarket.
Breakfast wasn’t brilliant. Very little choice and wasn’t hot.
The major issue for us was the bathroom. It was part of the bedroom. No separate bathroom with a door. The glass to shower and door was supposed to be frosted. It really wasn’t and both had gaps either side. We’ve been married 51 years, but I still like my privacy when I step out of the shower to get dried/dressed. It certainly did not prevent ablutions from filling the bedroom!! We made friends with two ladies who were friends and had the same room set up as us and they asked to be moved. It was quite a ridiculous design.

Wunderschöne Anlage, Strand entspricht nicht den Erwartungen
Pros:

Architektur und Ausstattung sehr schön. Schöner Pool mit schöner Mittagstaverne. Zimmer auch sehr schön. Viele gute Tavernen fußläufig zu erreichen.

Cons:

Great location
Pros:

The Atrium is a beautiful hotel in a great location for wonderful views of the sea and getting the bus to explore the island. We stayed on a B&B tariff so didn't have an evening meal but breakfast is plentiful. Everything is prepared in the hotel kitchens and I would think there would be something for everyone. The waiting staff are hardworking, professional and friendly. There was a daily scramble for sunbeds at 9.30 when the area opened but there are so many beautiful beaches within walking or bus journey, this didn't bother us. We would definitely return but next time would ask for a room that wasn't so close to the road so a bit quieter.

The lovely staff and interior design sadly didn't compensate for the pool and dining experiences.
Pros:

Lovely staff and beautiful interiors, although we were there for the sun so didn't spend any time inside

Cons:

There weren't enough sun loungers around the pool (and we visited in low season!), two thirds were under permanent canopies (so useless for sunlovers) and they were less than a foot apart so no privacy. For this reason we wouldn't return.
No hotel sun loungers on the beach so you had to pay 25 to 35 euros to hire them, and the walk to the beach was pretty scrappy (you ended up walking behind the neighbouring hotel's property where they stored their beach furniture).
Buffet breakfast was repetitive (with no egg station for freshly cooked egg dishes) and buffet dinner was disappointing, as most cooked-in-advance meals tend to me. We eat out most nights at the local tavernas where the food was tastier, and the meal cheaper.

Dream vacation
Pros:

Choosing this family-run hotel for our week-long “sisters' vacation” was the perfect decision! We received a genuinely warm welcome when we checked in, and the room was tastefully decorated and very clean. The hotel as a whole has been lovingly renovated and designed—you feel extremely comfortable there. We had half board and enjoyed it very much every day. Both breakfast and dinner are buffet style, and the chef and his crew are masters of their craft. With this offering, there really is something for everyone. Without exception, the serving and cleaning staff were very friendly and competent, making us feel welcome.

The pool area is very well maintained, and it was made clear in advance that access to the beach is a bit adventurous and more challenging for people with walking difficulties. In reality, however, it's not so bad; there is also a pleasant alternative route (i.e., not via the beaten path), you just have to walk a little further (approx. 100 meters).

In conclusion, I can only give the Hotel Atrium a clear recommendation!

Amazing week in this beautiful Hotel !!
Pros:

Wow what an amazing hotel. the location was spot on for us and the views were amazing. Breakfast was very good and the terrace surroundings was relaxing . We had a suite with a swim up pool which was of a good size and lots of wardrobe space. All the staff was polite and friendly. The owner Electra was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Cant wait to go back next year ( hopefully June and and September) Cant recommend this beautiful hotel enough. 10 out of 10
Thank you to everyone at the hotel for making our holiday :) Dawn and Micky

Exceptionally clean
Pros:

We stayed for 1 week in September in a junior suite with sea view. Our suite was not the biggest one in this category but the view was fantastic. Bed was nice, breakfast was really good with lots of choices. This is one of the cleanest hotel that I have ever stayed in. Being in southern Europe and not even seeing any ants is remarkable. The staff was all wonderful but I would specially like to mention Anastasia in reception, which was always smiling and so very helpful. We had the hotel pick us up from the airport and when we left we had them order us a taxi. Both these options I can recommend. This hotel has lot of stairs so not for those that do not like to clime the stairs. You could of course also take the elevator but then you might have to take 2 different ones. There is a lot of really nice taverns within 5 minutes walking and everyone that we tried had excellent food. We spent our days at the beach but the pool area also looked nice.

We'll be back!
Pros:

The only downside to this wonderful hotel is that it can be a bit of a maze but after a few days you soon become accustomed to it and then it's just amaz-ing. We were fortunate enough to be upgraded to a room with a private pool and it was fabulous. Situated just 500 yards from more than enough quality tavernas to keep anyone going for 10-14 days, and close enough to a perfect beach, it's hard to ask for any more. Oh and the staff are especially marvellous especially James from Sudan whose cheery smile welcomed us to breakfast every morning. We'll be back, and we never go back to any hotel as there are so many to choose from in Greece.

Beautiful Setting, but Disappointing Stay for the high end Price
Pros:

We stayed in a maisonette with shared pool and while our first impressions on arrival were very positive — the setting is stunning and the architecture is beautifully designed, the reality of the stay fell far short of expectations, especially given the premium price of over €4,750 for 11 nights (booked direct months in advance).

Our original room was extremely dark with little natural light, making it feel gloomy and uninviting. After requesting to move, we were relocated to Room 608, but still found the overall standard disappointing. The bedding and pillows were uncomfortable, the curtains mismatched, and both bathroom and pool towels were visibly worn and in need of replacement.

The maisonette layout itself also raised concerns. It is advertised as sleeping 4–5 people, yet the loft area is reached by a steep, ladder-style staircase that feels unsafe, I would certainly worry about children sleeping up there. The additional sleeping is literally two mattresses on the floor, below the standard we would expect at this price point. When you look closely on their website, you can see this is the case, but lets be honest, no-one expects a mattress on the floor, especially when paying this price!

Housekeeping was inconsistent. Some days it was very thorough, other times like they were there 2 minutes; dirty glasses from the bar were left behind, and at one point our own Stanley travel cup was "mistakenly" taken. I thought I was going mad until another guest said that hers had been taken from their room. As this had happened to other guests too, and it was new cleaners who thought they belonged to the hotel, we were surprised that no effort was made to proactively return it — we had to go to reception to track it down.

The shared pool, one of the main reasons we booked, was also a disappointment. The limited space in the sun meant close proximity and made it feel intrusive rather than relaxing if being used at the same time as the neighbours. In the end, we avoided using it.

Breakfast each morning was another letdown — repetitive, limited in choice, and featuring low-quality items such as cheap meats and processed cheese. However, if you like dried fruit and seeds, this is the place for you! The only redeeming factor was the consistently warm and attentive service from the staff, particularly Connie, who went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

We are seasoned travellers and have stayed at a wide range of hotels worldwide. Unfortunately, this was one of the most expensive per night, yet least satisfying experiences we’ve had. Neither of the two reasons we booked — the additional upstairs space and the shared pool — turned out to be practical or usable. Overall, the stay did not reflect the quality or comfort expected for the price paid.

While we were disappointed during our stay, we wanted to enjoy our holiday and not dwell on things we couldn't change but as time went on, our frustration grew. After returning home, we couldn't help but compare our experience at Atrium to an earlier holiday in Crete where we paid less than half the price for far superior accommodation and facilities.

On our return our feedback to management fell on deaf ears and replies were defensive, did not acknowledge our issues, and were not at all helpful.

Personally I would not stay at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it at the price we paid.
