Warm Hospitality in a Perfect Location
Pros:

We had a truly wonderful 3 night stay at The Excelsior with a friend. The location of the hotel is perfect, right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly easy and enjoyable to explore Thessaloniki on foot.The atmosphere of the hotel felt warm, elegant, and very welcoming from the moment we arrived. What made our stay especially memorable was the kindness and friendliness of the staff. We would particularly like to thank Elizavet for her genuine warmth, attentive care, and the wonderful recommendations she gave us about the city. Her suggestions truly made our experience even more special and authentic.Thank you again for such a lovely stay we would be very happy to return in the future.

A beautiful haven in the heart of the city
Pros:

Good central location with most sights within walking distance, with the waterfront only a couple of minutes away.
Room 21, junior suite, was very stylish, spacious and well appointed.A good breakfast was provided, as was a welcome bottle of wine and chocolates. Very welcoming and helpful staff.

Cons:

Being fussy, I would have preferred a walk-in rather an above-bath shower.
There was a locked connecting door to the adjacent room which wasn’t very soundproof. Fortunately the guests there weren’t noisy but I could hear phones ringing quite clearly.

Pros:

The staff are excellent. Very professional, polite and accommodating. Very much appreciated their help with room change.

Cons:

The hotel is in a very central location but this can be a problem if room faces the bars and restaurants across the street - noise level at night. Staff were very helpful and moved us to a very quiet and great room after the first night "experience".
