Keine Infos beim self check in über den kostenfreien Parkplatz... er ist hinter dem Hotel, da es ein Sonntag Abend war, aber egal
Am Montag beim Frühstück wäre eine Info von der Dame an der Rezeption hilfreich gewesen, dass man die Parkuhr anbringen sollte

Schönes Hotel, Personal nicht so toll

Schönes Ambiente, hübsches sauberes Zimmer, bequeme Betten, nettes Frühstücksbuffet

Cons:

Rezeption nur bis 15h besetzt, keinerlei Hinweis auf Self-Check in danach. Telefonisch ist nur eine Hotline (anscheinend irgendwo in Deutschland) erreichbar. Lt. Beschreibung sind alle Zimmer mit Aufzug erreichbar und rollstuhlgerecht. Der Lift fährt aber nur bis zum 2.Stock. In den 3.Stock muss man dann doch über Stiegen hinauf. Für uns gsdk kein Problem, aber was macht dann ein Rollstuhlfahrer, wenn die Rezeption nicht besetzt ist? Hotline anrufen?!?! Der Besitzer spart offenbar beim Personal. Das wirkt oftmals überfordert. Bei ausgebuchtem Haus wird das Frühstücksbuffet von nur 2 jungen Frauen betreut, die nicht besonders gut Deutsch sprechen.
Unsere beiden Schlüsselkarten wurden zugleich inaktiv und wir konnten nicht ins Zimmer. Gsdk war die Rezeption zu dieser Zeit besetzt! Auf die Frage, was dann nach 15h wäre, hieß es, dass man eben die Hotline anrufen soll. Die würde dann halt jemanden evtl aus Schrems herschicken... Eines schönen Hotels einfach nicht würdig, finde ich!

Mit sehr leichten Einschränkungen hat es uns gut gefallen!
Pros:

Frühstück war ausreichend und sehr gut. Zimmer sind nett und sauber. Alles recht ruhig obwohl es im Zentrum liegt.

Cons:

Keine Klimaanlage im Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Zimmer im 3. Stock. Der Lift hört im 2. Stock auf. Für Ältere etwas umständlich.

Great welcome, extremely helpful staff and very comfortabel stay.
Pros:

Excellent location, directly on the town square and near to the bus stops. Very friendly and helpful staff. Great breakfast buffet. Fridge in the room. Never slept in a round bed before. Very near to an excellent restaurant called "The Hopferl" which offered great gluten free food and beer (even a Schnitzel was no problem as they use rice flour). On the last night was a free concert on the square which was a lovely surprise. In the hotel itself right next to the elevator is a bit of history, i.e. a piece of the iron curtain - the bob wired fence that ran along the border between Austria and the Czech Republic. A reminder of closed borders and watch towers along the road. For anybody who is a train lover, try the "Waldviertel Bahn" which runs steam trains and other types to Litschau with different themes like traditional goose dinners, castle experiences, Christmas events, etc and they also have a small train museum in Litschau.

Cons:

No hot chocolate in the hot drinks machine at the breakfast buffet but the staff made a really nice one. The gluten free bread rolls were not great.
