We'll be back and will definitely recommend for a stay or trip to waco.
Pros:

The location. Everything went well for the most part. The bed I could sleep in forever. I loved the welcome note on the TV plus my name was spelled correctly. We will be returning for Christmas. Kudos to the staff as the hotel was wonderfully kept with an incredible view of I believe it's more of a pond.

Cons:

The side of the jacuzzi tub kept unsnapping and falling to the floor. Scared us the first time. So we sat the trash can in front of it. Then, we got up at 6 am and the lights wouldn't come on. Lucky for me my husband is knowledgeable in that area. He found the breaker box and reset the lights and they popped back on.

Consistent of the Homewood Suites by Hilton Brand.
Pros:

I like the Homewood Suites hotels. This one is no exception. Below is my summary of the hotel.
Location: Excellent! There were other hotels that looked well maintained and there were several restaurants within walking distance or a short drive of less than 1 mile.
Entrance: Staff was very friendly. The building looked clean but a little dated.
Elevator: There are two Elevators (one at the South end of the building and one near the entrance) They seemed to be hydraulic powered so they are a little slow; otherwise they were fine.
Hallways: Clean and quite
Room: I had a King Studio Suite. The room was well maintained but a little dated (to open the door, you have to slide the card into the slot). Air conditioning worked and was quite. I was impressed with how quite the room was, considering that my room was next to the ice machine and not too far away was the elevator.
TV: This was easy to use and was of a nice size.
Bathroom: This was clean but, as previously stated, it showed it's age. There was no mildew or mold in the bathroom. The soap and lotion containers were fastened to the wall and were full.

Overall summary:
For a solo traveler, this place is a good and viable option. It is a good representative of this hotel brand. I would not only stay here again but I would recommend others to stay here.

Visibly stained furniture and extremely outdated
Pros:

The location is about the ONLY good thing going on in this hotel. The chairs are visibly stained. We had lukewarm water in the shower at best. The dishes were dirty in the cabinet. I called the front desk and asked for an extra trash bag, and was told, "Yeah no. You're gonna have to come down here for that." Everything in this room is obviously at least a decade (probably two) old, and it shows. A lot. If I wanted to stay in an outdated filthy room I'd have saved $100 and booked a motel 6.
