Pool was closed at night with pool fence. Very safe for children.
Splash park was a buzz in and out with room key. Very safe for children
Balcony were not safe. Basically climbing frames especially for young children. Wood on balcony was wobbly. Extremely unsafe.
I requested a lower floor since travelling with a 2.5 year old boy. Staff member at reception was not helpful neither was manger when I raised concerned about the safety of the balcony. They told me to just ‘watch my son doesn’t climb it’ obviously I would but this wasnt a good enough safety standard for a child’s hotel. First thing my son did when we entered the room was climbed up in the little ledge on the balcony which he could easily then swing leg over balcony on top floor of the hotel. I asked could I remove the chairs from the balcony and table to prevent him trying to climb these to get up to balcony. I was told this is absolutely not allowed as the company they are in contract with for the balcony furniture doesn’t allow the furniture to be removed from the balcony. I tried to explain that I had a real safety concern and didn’t feel it was safe for my son during our stay and the manager especially had very bad customer service skills and took offence and was very hostile instead of helping me feel more comfortable and working with me. I offered to pay extra to be moved to an apartment if on lower floor which she refused. I explained the height of the balcony and unsafe balcony structure was not safe for young children of which she replied “the balcony on the first floor is the same as the forth. If he (my son) fell from the 1st floor he probably still wouldn’t survive and you should just watch your son.”
Crazy customer service. Pity because the cleaners, restaurant staff , entertainment team were very lovely.

Nothing! Have stayed twice. Only small negative is cap Salou is very hilly if you have a mobility problem or a pram

Está muy bien las piscinas para los niños, los programas de música por la noche también. La comida está rica.
La limpieza de las habitaciones el suelo estaba todo el rato con arena pelusas y etc. la comida no era variada sobre todo el desayuno es todo el día el mismo. La cena está limitada al horario y tienes que cenar súper rápido y discretamente te echan. El spa no es nada de spa . Es una piscina climatizada.
The staff could not do enough for us during our stay. So helpful and friendly. We did half board the food was amazing a huge variety. The pools were great for the kids with slides and the entertainment staff were brilliant. We will 100% be back.
Location is a little far from center.
We had a wonderful stay with our young son. The room was comfortable, the service was excellent, and the food was good. Our son loved the kids' pool with slides, and the nearby beach is perfect for small children - shallow and safe. Most guests were families with kids, which created a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended!
The apartment I requested was on the 6th floor with a magnificent sea view . The staff is very attentive and friendly .
The same choice for breakfast . Small selection of cocktails and drinks . The bar is somehow not comfortable , not decorated properly.
