Historic hotel in an excellent area.

It is one of the most special and unique hotels I have ever stayed in.

The service from start to finish was phenomenal with great care and professionalism. Security is top notch and paramount here and no more than 2 minutes walk to Charles Bridge.

The breakfast is fantastic quality and the whole hotel both bedrooms and interior is again beyond immaculate. A very proud hotel and history is beautifully preserved.

Will certainly stay here again.

4 starts hotel only in the realm of dreams.

Me and my partner stayed in the “best room in the hotel”, it is the one with the castle view, and granted, the view was great. All the rest however, left much to desire.

The entire room only had one socket working, all others were broken. The shower was so bad we resorted to having bucket adjacent showers in the bath and the bed was below comfortable. The day we arrived, the air conditioner was broken and had a bright light flashing throughout the day, we asked reception to turn it off, which was not done by the time we went to bed, which led to bad sleeping quality as it flashed quite brightly. The next day, they glued a piece of paper in front of the flashing light, that’s it.

When we brought the maintenance issues, sockets and shower, to the attention to the manager, highlighting that after looking at reviews there were similar complaints for over 2 years, he scoffed.

Additionally, do not expect even a nespresso in your room to be complimentary, it was €2.5 for a nespresso if you wanted one, which even Ibis budget gives you as a treat (and no milk around).

All in all, I would not recommend in the slightest, considering the price, you can get something significantly better.

Furthermore, because I did not find this information on their website, other than the very high fee for the room in comparison to the other hotels in Prague, the spa facilities are paid extra and is €40pp per hour.

Go somewhere else.

Lovely hotel great location

Great location close to public transport. My room faced the interior courtyard. Very quiet. Steep stairs so better to pack light. Nice breakfast with hot and cold food options.

The staff was not helpful and very unfriendly. We were very disappointed.

The hotel was dark and hard to see around in the hallway. we only had one outlet in our room.

The only thing good was the location. I would not recommend this place ever.

Great service, wonderful area, beautiful views of the city!

We loved our stay at U Pava. It was a 5 min walk to the Charles Bridge, and faced a quieter courtyard. The hotel was lovely and clean. Our room was large enough for a couple. The bathroom was in good shape, with just minor repair needed on the door to the bathroom. It dared from 1600's, and was well kept for such an age. Breakfast was outstanding, with eggs, fruit meats, cheeses and small pastries.
The only thing i would mention is that you must be able to manage narrow stairs with your luggage. We were on the 3rd floor.
We used the airport transfer arranged by the hotel, and were very glad we did.

This hotel is absolutely wonderful - old-school charm in a fabulous location! You are less than 5 minutes’ walk from Charles Bridge, with excellent restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is lovely; we booked a suite, which had an amazing view of Prague Castle. Rooms also have aircon, which was very welcome!
Breakfast is great - there’s a good selection of hot and cold food, choice of pastries, fruits etc.
Service was superb too.

Great boutique hotel right in the heart of Lesser Town Prague. Close to the trams and metro, walkable to pretty much everything in the historic centre of the city and easily connected to the rest. Staff were very friendly. Daily breakfast was hearty. Quite happy with the room - I think we got the only room with a balcony! Would definitely stay here again

We were very pleased with our 3 day stay. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was quiet and in a prime spot near the Charles Bridge and walk to the castle. We booked the luxury room and the view was incredible. The breakfast was very enjoyable as well offering hot and cold options. Overall great hotel in a fabulous city. Defintely will stay here again when in Prague!!

This place had a very authentic feel that was uniform any other stay I have ever experienced!
