Pros:

Der Neubau war sehr schön

Cons:

Der Altbau geht gar nicht, roch nasch Schimmel und alt. Fenster waren undicht und hatten Wasser an den Seiten.

Beautiful hotel
Pros:

We stayed in what looked to be a new addition and it was very nice.
Everything was clean and beautiful.

Cons:

The hot tub and sauna were in the old part of the hotel and you had to walk outside to get to them.

We enjoyed having dinner. Their hand breakfast was delicious. The hot tub and sauna were very pleasing.

Petit déjeuner très copieux

Cons:

Chambre très petite. Compliqué de mettre nos deux valises.
Chambre sale : humidité dans la salle de bain, moisissure, sous le lit poussière et saletés. Moisissures près de la fenêtre
Travaux, réveillés à l’aube. Un salarié a essayé de rentrer dans notre chambre ( le local était la porte à côté)

Tolle Erfahrung
Pros:

Die Einrichtung, das Ambiente und die Architektur sind einfach super interessant und schön!
Besonders das vielfältige Frühstück war toll (ein zweites Waffeleisen wäre vielleicht gut, das war nämlich sehr beliebt 😉). Das Personal war auch richtig freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allgemein die Dekoration ist richtig toll, besonders wenn man nordische Historie mag. Das Badezimmer mit beheizten Boden ist auch sehr sauber und cool gewesen, man konnte seine Badesachen aufhängen und sie waren am nächsten Tag wieder trocken. Die Bushaltestelle war auch ganz in der Nähe, weshalb man innerhalb von Minuten in der Stadt sein konnte. (Man sollte aber gut planen wenn man an Touren ohne Mietwagen teilnimmt, weil es dort keinen Pickup gibt z.B. bei GetYouGuide).

Wenn wir wieder nach Island fliegen, gerne wieder!

Cons:

Als wir ankamen wurde uns gesagt wir hätten ein Upgrade erhalten, das Zimmer war leider nur für eine Person vorbereitet. Es gibt auch einen Hot Tub, aber leider keine Möglichkeit seine Sachen irgendwo abzulegen damit sie trocken bleiben (man sitzt draußen hinterm Haus unter Bäumen. Eine Überdachung gegen den Regen wäre schön - zumindest wenn man seine Kleidung irgendwo ablegen möchte)
Unsere Fensteraussicht beschränkte sich auch leider nur auf eine Felswand, an der laufend Mitarbeiter vorbeigelaufen sind, weshalb wir die Vorhänge permanent zu hatten.

Cons:

The room was so small that only the double bed could fit, with an iron in the middle that prevented you from sleeping! The duvets were for a single bed and therefore positioned across the bed! The bathroom was so small that it didn't have a sink, only a hand rinser with a sewer smell rising up! The bathroom floor was plastic! The shower was so small that you could barely turn around while touching the curtain! I'd say it was more like a hostel room than a two-star hotel!poor breakfast without cappuccino !!

Im Neubau waren die Zimmer neu, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, schönes Bad, gutes Frühstück. Mit dem Auto gute Verkehrsanbindung ins Umland, 15min ins Zentrum

Cons:

Zimmer im Altbau-Teil sind nicht so schön, wir haben vor Ort gegen Gebühr ein Upgrade in den Neubau gebucht.
