Pros:

The theme and amenities and location for the price

Cons:

The breakfast was good, love the waffles but the cups were pretty small and I would have loved some hot savory breakfast like scrambled eggs or something and would have happily paid a little more! Also I think the viking restaurant was great but expensive, and incentive for guests to eat there would be great like free soft drink with a meal or 10% or something.

Ambiance atypique dans cet hôtel... Le personnel est d une gentillesse extrême.
Au restaurant vous êtes plongés dans le monde viking à 100%. Les plats sont copieux et d excellente qualité : un régal !
Le hot tub très agréable après une journée dans le froid
Petits déjeuners très copieux et variés allant du croissant, aux gaufres en passant par la charcuterie, les crudités, le fromage et même les harengs marinés
Vue agréable sur le port depuis la salle du petit déjeuner

Cons:

La vue depuis notre chambre . En effet non donnions sur un chantier et un mur de pierre. De ce fait la chambre était quasiment toujours dans le noir.
Nous avions une chambre pour 3. Si le lit double était confortable, il n en était pas de même pour le 3eme couchage . En effet il s agissait simplement d un petit matelas en 80 posé sur un canapé. Idem pour les couettes très épaisses sur le lit double et très fine sur le 3 eme couchage

Pros:

Good location.. could improve with a better taxi service for travellers arriving and leaving at awkward times

Cons:

This was my 3rd stay here , and I recommend 5 of my friends to come and stay… the older gentleman was very rude to my friends who arrived a few days later than me … he was “Too busy” (in his words ) to check them in … they loved the restaurant and the food, but as a first encounter at reception that wasn’t quite nice . Rest of the staff was lovely and helpful.. The Icelandic lady was lovely, very friendly and helpful..

Disappointing and left either way a feeling of being ripped off.
Pros:

The decor in the main hotel area snd village.

Cons:

The room was insultingly small with no space to open our bags or walk around the edge of the bed.
Two singles pushed together when we ordered and paid for a double.
No available power outlets, to use the supplied kettle you had to unplug the fridge.
No water or glasses in the room.

Breakfast was a limited buffet with tiny egg cup like vessels for coffee.

Tiny tv to match the tiny room.

Prima locatie voor een paar dagen ijsland.
Makkelijk te bereiken vanaf het vliegveld. Eenvoudige kamers maar wel schoon met goede bedden.

Bon séjour, atypique comme attendu.
Pros:

Le charme du bâtiment, très bien décoré et dans son jus viking.
L'accueil chaleureux du personnel, souriant et avenant.
Le petit-déjeuner, varié et bon.

Cons:

Le rapport qualité prix du restaurant, excessif.
La porte fermée après 20h, besoin d'appeler pour rentrer, ce qui freine l'envie de sortir le soir.
