The new additions to the hotel are amazing! The room was comfortable, the blackout curtains did a very good job getting
Pros:

The renovated spaces were excellent and the suite room was modern, clean, but still to theme where they could make it work!

Cons:

Parking was very limited, especially with the construction. Had to park in the nearby office lot on the other end of the restaurant.

tegenslag met de kamer

- personeel receptie als restaurant : 10 /10 qua service
- restaurant : heel goed, wel aan de dure kant (zoals de rest van IJsland)

Cons:

- we boeken steeds een standaard kamer. maar toen we onze kamer (kamer nr 1) in Hotel Viking zagen waren we zeer teleurgesteld :

de kamer was zeer klein, volgestouwd met 2 bedden, een bureau en een nachtkastje, we hadden bijna geen bewegingsruimte. de badkamer rook zeer slecht. we wisten dat er solfer in het water zat, maar in onze badkamer was geen verluchting aanwezig. ook was de douche nogal onhygienisch afgewerkt met hout (!).

deze kamer - op de eerste verdieping - had ook geen privacy, doordat mensen voorbij ons raam liepen die naar de hot tub gingen, en gewoon langs ons raam passeerden.

Kortom : deze 'standaard' kamer was zijn prijs niet waard. Ik ben er zeker van dat er betere 'standaard' kamers waren.

Éramos una pareja y cogimos una casa y no era cómoda/práctica con tanta literas y escaleras que no utilizamos. Ademas.la.luz artificial en el interior era muy precaria

Pros:

Vastaanoton naispuoleinen henkilö oli todella ystävällinen ja auttavainen. Kyseessä henkilö joka otti meidät vastaan maanantaina. Täydet pisteet hänelle!!!!

Cons:

Aamiainen ei ollut ihan sitä tasoa mihin tottunut. Sauna jota ei voi kutsua saunaksi.

The staff was really nice.

Cons:

Food at dinner was very expensive. The bsthroom in the room we stayed in needed panels fixed and the glass shelf above the sink was partially broken too. One of the staff members serving breakfast was working in open toe flip flops.

We liked the decor and the breakfast was decent.

Cons:

The room was very small. There is barely enough space to get in and out of bed and we are not big people. One of the lamps over the headboard did not work. Not enough electrical plugs. I had to put our cell phones on the floor to charge them.There was no temperature controls and the room was very warm. The bathtub/shower was near impossible to get in and out of and the floor of the tub was very slippery and dangerous. No tub mat or handrails to hold on to. Very little water pressure from the shower. No shampoo or conditioner. We thought the shower/tub situation was dangerous. After I tried to use the shower my wife decided not to shower because of the danger. We would not go there again. For the price it was not at all acceptable.

Contesto molto particolare e accogliente

Cons:

Per usufruire di sauna e hot tub, per chi alloggia nelle "casette", è necessario uscire, attraversare il parcheggio e recarsi nell'edificio principale. Era freddo e non ce la siamo sentiti di farlo bagnati.
L'hot tub inoltre, essendo collocata in un bel giardino, era sporca (foglie, residui sul fondo).
A parte questo siamo stati molto bene, personale molto cordiale e disponibile.

Very nice stay at this area.
Pros:

Stayed at the new rooms which are very good, comfortable and clean.

Cons:

Breakfast was being served at the restaurant that despite very “Viking” is a bit stuffy and smelly.
The breakfast at the main building had more options.
