What I liked most was the breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options, with a different menu each day.
The room was a bit old-fashioned, but it was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the air conditioning worked very well.
The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is right in the heart of the city, so most bars, restaurants, and the riverfront are within walking distance.
The swimming pool is small but refreshing and beautifully decorated. There is also the option to enjoy cocktails by the pool, which is a nice touch.
What really bothered me was being charged more than the agreed price. I booked through Booking.com, with the price shown in euros (€158), but at the front desk, they initially asked us to pay in US dollars and then converted the amount into Peruvian soles. We ended up paying 654 soles, which was equivalent to approximately €172 at the time.
I don't understand why I was charged more than the original booking price. The lack of transparency made me feel misled, and this left me with a very negative impression.
