The room was basic, but clean and comfortable. The room did not have chair at desk, but when I asked about this one was brought to my room at once. The owner and staff were very friendly, helpful, and nice! Great location, Petra, museum, eating, drinking, etc. all walkable. Breakfast included was fine too. There is also a roof which is a great place to take sunset pictures over Petra.
Very close go Petra' s main entrance. Extensive breakfast starts at 6am to enable an early start sightseeing. Corridors were a bit noisy with people getting an early start so expect to be up with the rest of them. Good value and great position
Close to Petra, clean, recently renovated hotel. Firiendly staff.
This hotel is simple but very clean and has perfect location.
Hotel had only just reopened after renovations, the staff was very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel was only a 2 minutes walk from Petra main gate and close to restaurants. the breakfast was very limited but after walking around Petra all day I was a bit glad it was limited.
Very clean hotel, nice staff, wifi good, if there is shampoo much better
Muito ruim!
12月下旬で、屋外は0℃前後と寒いので、何度もスタッフにお願いしましたが、エアコン、オイルヒーターを稼働してくれませんでした。 Wi-Fiも遅く不安定で、屋根の下のベッドでコートを着て寝ました。
I was suggested by the Car rental company in Amman and ended up at this miserable place. Filthy cold room and Stinky bathroom.....
I wos wheri satisfay with evrithing.
This hotel was less then 3 minutes to the gates of Petra. There is good Wi-Fi in the lobby but not in the rooms. From what I could see of the other hotels in Petra this one was the same as any other except the resorts but it's closer then most. Breakfast was a standard breakfast for the region, bread, hummus, labbnah, eggs. If your looking for a simple place close to the gates this is it.
I think its fine if you are on a budget. Its close to the visitors centre. The hotel is clean and the breakfast is big, very nice and kind staff. The bad thing, the visa dataphone wasnt working, and they charged me a little more than what I booked online but i was fine with it.
Fantastic location. Clean, simple, friendly staff. Exactly what we expected for the cost. We'd stay here again. I'd recommend eating dinner at the Red Cave restaurant down the street rather than the hotel if you want to taste the local cuisine.
Hotel is quaint, there is a certain feeling of being at a friend of a friend's house--like you don't
know them well, but they take good care of you. Be unassuming and you will enjoy your stay.
Cheap and basic. Very close to Petra's entrance and a flat level, which helps after a day hiking. Stayed in the refurbished part of the hotel, the bed was good and the air conditioned worked. However the bath leaked a lot, so after a shower the all bathroom was wet. The breakfast was basic and the staff could try to smile sometimes. Near to some nice restaurants. Overall a ok place, not to stay for longer than 2 days.
Very good choice for the price
Basic hotel near the entrance to Petra. Management and staff smoke, which is noticable in lobby and can drift to some of the rooms. Good value for the money. Basic Jordanian breakfast, with enough pita bread and cheese to pack a lunch to take into Petra saving $$$.
The best feature of the hotel was it's location: about 5 minutes walk from the Petra entrance. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the room and shower clean, beds comfortable, breakfast plenty, WiFi available in the lobby, grochery store next door.
The only disappointment was the AC in the room which was one rotating fan on the wall. Being there in the middle of the summer it just wasn't enough.
The location was about as good as it gets! When it says a 5 minute walk to the Petra Gates - it literally means a 5 minute walk. The location also allows easy access to restaurants and a pub next door. The rooms were very, very simple (but they were clean) and the TV didn't work - but who needs a TV when you can sit on the roof top terrace and watch the sun set. The staff were friendly and ensured that ice was on hand when needed for our drinks. The breakfast was also very simple but good enough to fill you up. Petra is the type of place you spend most of your time out and about - so this simple, cheap hotel suited us perfectly.
