A lovely surprise to begin our NZ holiday
Pros:

Everything was amazing. A beautiful old art deco hotel, staff were so friendly and accommodating. Hotel manager was fantastic. Restaurant staff lovely and a fabulous meal. Was not disappointed with room either, another lovely surprise. Whatever you’re doing, keep it up and thank you.

Othello expressed discomfort in the location.I was still charged a $150 to relocate and change my reservation.Not very friendly inand accommodating.

Unrivalled value for money, comfort attention and convenience.
Pros:

One expects material high standards- and the DeBrett meets them. What defines the quality of the stay is the people, and I found everyone friendly and willing to go out of their way to help me.
A very very good place to be if central Auckland is where you need to be. AND EXCEPTIONAL VALUE!

Pros:

The beds were amazing! The staff were so helpful and accommodating. And breakfast was one of the best I've ever had! The room decore was a bit random with mixed style - not sure if it was planned like this. I am not to found of caepet floor and bed spread as it feels not so hygenic. Even so - we got upgraded to a bigger room, so we were really happy.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super. Nur wenige Gehminuten zur Waterfont.
Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit. Da wir am Abreisetag nicht frühstücken konnten, wurde uns ein Lunchpaket zubereitet.

Cons:

Frühstück erst ab 7:00Uhr und nur a la Carte.

Fabulous location and trendy hotel
Pros:

Very stylish trendy hotel right in the centre of the city. Really nice bathroom and comfortable beds. Great bar and we got complimentary welcome drinks so enjoyed a glass of wine before bed.

Cons:

Room smell of bleach when we arrived and couldn’t open the windows, but the smell went away quite quickly.
