We experienced the most unpleasant stay at Harry's home Linz for two nights! Two men who were other customers had entered our room after 12am midnight, while I was in the shower, with the key to our room. It turned out the hotel management had given them a master key with access to any room and told them our room was free!
Upon checkout, the staff never bothered to offer an apology until I brought up the situation with the receptionists right before leaving.
While I understand mistakes can happen, I emailed the hotel to discuss adequate compensation for our unpleasant experience and were told that since "no actual damage occured" they cannot offer us any compensation!
I emailed back explaining that this is unacceptable since we were totally frightened for our nights at the hotel and unable to sleep, in fear someone could enter our room anytime. Not to mention, if what is considered "actual damage" occurred, it would have been very serious, especially considering when they walked in I was in the shower.
They have now completely ignored my email and refused to take any responsibility!

If you are a solo traveller, especially those girls travelling alone, stay safe and avoid this hotel at all costs!

Hotelul este asezat intr-o zona linistita, foarte aproape de statia de autobuz.

Cons:

Noi am rezervat un studio pentru 2 persoane. Cand am intrat in camera, aceasta era pregatita pentru o persoana: un singur rand de perne si o pilota, un rand de prosoape de baie, un scaun, o noptiera cu lampa, o singura cana pentru ceai sau cafea. Scurgerea de la dus era infundata, asa ca 2 zile cat am stat acolo nu am putut sa facem dus

polecam ten hotel rodzinom podróżującym z dziećmi.

świetny pokój łączony z dwoma dużymi łóżkami. świetne śniadanie => nie mogę jeść do 11:00 - jednak personel hotelu nie widział problemu abym mógł zrobić sobie coś na wynos. doceniam taką elastyczność. podczas inych podróży będę się zatrzymywać w tym hotelu.

Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Das Appartment war perfekt und gemütlich ausgestattet, Für 15 € zusätzlich hatten wir auch einen Balkon. Die Fahrräder waren auch gut untergebracht.

Sehr nett. Sauberkeit hängt vom Zimmer ab
Pros:

Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Heimischer Honig. Butter und Marmeladen nicht in kleinen Gebinden (Thema Verpackungsmüll). Modern eingerichtet.

Cons:

Wir hatten 2 Zimmer. Eines davon war sauber. Beim zwiten Zimmer waren die Wände sehr staubig (die dunkle Wand beim Bett wurde abscheinend schon länger nicht von Staub befreit). Die Dame an der Rezeption wurde bei der Abreise darüber informiert. Die Antwort war: "Einmal im Jahr kommt eine Spezialfirma und säubert die Wände". Ich versuchte noch höflich darauf hinzuweisen, dass man dies ja in 10 Min mit einem Staubfänger erledigen kann und es im anderen Zimmer ja anscheinend gemacht wurde.
