Pros:

We stayed at Dekeling before and after a hike.
The first stay we were in the front mountain view room, this room did not meet our expectations.
However, the staff were so helpful and welcoming we decided to stay here again after our hike but in a back room which was so much nicer and cheaper!
We enjoyed some time in the loft looking over the city.
Great location for food and the mall.

Cons:

The mountain view room had black mould and noise from the roads.

Top Lage mitten im Zentrum, schönes Holzinterieur, Sitzecke mit wunderbarer Aussicht. Das Hotelpersonal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Zimmer war an einzelnen Stellen etwas staubig, aber sonst sehr sauber und geppflegt. Warmwasser vorhanden und - das ist das beste - eine Matratze mit Wärmefunktion. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert.

Great location, bad staff.
Pros:

The location was excellent, near mall road and good eateries.

Cons:

The staff, especially the in charge had an indifferent and arrogant attitude. He was more interested in white skin guests. Mr. Vikram was an exception.
Need quite the stamina without.elevators.

Hotel offered me auto upgrade without extra charge as the booked room was not correct condition. Staff and Manager's behavior was good. We had a nice stay.

Good location, excellent staff and a very relaxing place to stay in Darjeeling!
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful during my stay. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The lounge was a good place to meet other guests and has spectacular views of Darjeeling and the Himalayas in the distance

Great location and service
Pros:

The location is very convenient for tourists. The view from our room and the shared lounge was stunning. The manager was very friendly and responsive and he gave us lots of information on good places to visit and arranged an excellent driver to take us to Sikkim.

Cons:

The rooms with views are of a lower standard than the deluxe rooms so our bathroom was compromised but functional. Those views though! There are many stairs to climb from the street (about 50 to the reception and then more to rooms) so not ideal if you’re unfit or limited in mobility.
