A decent stay at Fineso hotel. Advantages: 1) located really close to the bus station, if you need it, and to a bunch of supermarkets, small tourist shops and restaurants/fast food places 2) the rooms overlooking the mountains have beautiful views and are pretty quiet, 3) the receptionists try their best to make your stay pleasant, 4) all the issues are fixed rapidly (e.g., we had a shower drainage working poorly), 5) the place has parking that belongs to them, otherwise finding parking in Budva is almost impossible. Disadvantages: 1) the receptionists don’t speak other languages than English and Serbian, so unless you know any of these two - good luck, 2) the rooms are small with very basic and pretty outdated furniture, 3) the mattresses are not the most comfortable, 4) if you’ve got a street view room, you will hear all the traffic and the neon sign of the hotel might be in your face at night, 5) the breakfasts don’t have a big variety and barely change from day to day. So, if you’ve got a stay of 2-3 days, all good, but if longer, it feels very repetitive, 6) the street nearby that leads to the sea is very busy with people and traffic, which you often have to ditch, 7) the hotel has no garden or green space to enjoy.
Rooms are big and lot of space for everything. Parking before Hotel (safety).Very clean every day cleaning rooms, friendly owners give you info for all places in Budva. Not so far from center about 10min walking, near have markets,bars,restaurants...
The hotel was clean and nice, breakfast was wonderfull, adminsitrators were very lovely.
However - the owner was quite rude, unhappy, unfriedly and very not flexible.
We were big group of 28 people (in hotel can live about 42 people) and asked for coffe and different breakfast pack, as first time was woth egg, wich is not sutable to go to airport.. and ge denied, even he saved so much on the packed breakfast instead of normal one twise from us. If the owner would be more friendly, smiling, and flexible the hotel would be amaizing….
Reachable to the old town by 20 mins walk or 5 euros house taxi there, and 10 euros taxi back. Nice hotel, staff helpful, breakfast reasonable. Parking in the front of hotel but a little tricky for non-skilled driver. Overall nice stay
Nice and comfortable hotel. Very clean. Very, very good breakfast with plenty of choice. Big parking. Location is good, close to old town and the beaches. Really great and helpful staff, although busy having time for a small talk.
I absolutely loved everything about this place! The hotel had everything I needed, breakfast was great (so much to chose from), and the staff was lovely and helpful. I recommend it for everyone, it exceeded my expectations.
Lovely rooms. Friendly staff. Breakfast fantastic - cooked or continental. Organised a prompt and reduced price taxi to airport. Close to beach and shops. Twenty minutes walk from Stari Grad. Would highly recommend.
We had a great time at Fineso hotel. It is an family run hotel and Dejan the owner is the great host. Rooms are well equipped and the breakfast is delicious. City center is in walking distance and there are good restaurants nearby.
I highly recommend this hotel...
The staff were very helpful. The room was a bit dated, the air conditioning worked but didn't quite cool down the room and there was a now quaint old fashioned TV. In general everything was fine but quite a distance to the beach and Old Town
Ett fin familjedriven hotell med trevlig och hjälpsam personal.
Bra frukost och mycket prisvärd!
Idealny hotel do każdego rodzaju podróży
I stayed here for 2 nights and met with the owner as well. He is very friendly, helpfull and also the staff as well. They are very hospitable. I can say that the breakfast, the attitude of the staff, the location, the price, the room etc. All the things here are more than I expected and definitely I will stay at this hotel again. Thanks for everything :)
The place is good: some 8-10 min from various beaches-Mogren; Ricardova Glava; Slovenska beach; and the old city. Mainski put (the hotel is almost on this street) has a lot to offer in terms of shops (mega market) and restaurants (Relax; Velzon; Pod Lozem etc.). The room was clean and modern as well as spacious enough. Each room has wc with a window; no bath; the water pressure was excellent. Each room has also a lovely and romantic balcony with a little table and two chairs: where you can see the mountains; you cannot see the sea. The service and staff were excellent and very lovely, caring and helpful. The breakfast was always very good and you can have it on the lovely terrace in front of the hotel. The only minus - the acoustic is a bit problematic, ie, you can see sounds from staircase and the wc of one of your neighbors; problem is maybe that the stairs are from stone and are not covered with carpet; as well as the rooms are without a carpet; and sound isolation of neighboring wc could have been better. No other minuses I can mention. Yes, each room has an air conditioner. The hotel itself is on a small street; very quiet; no bars; suspicious clubs or persons. The hotel is very clean and well maintained.
Hotels staff here is very friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable (even bed fits my height in 196 cm!) and clean. Also there was wonderful mountain view from the balcony. Breakfasts were always fresh and tasty. The location is very comfortable: there a lot of good caffe and restaurants nearby, a supermarket and the beach is like 7 minutes walk.
We spent two weeks at the Garni Hotel Fineso, in Budva which has been an amazing experience. The receptionists Marija and Bojana both spoke (and understood) excellent English and are a real credit to the hotel. They offered advice on where to eat during the day and where to avoid (food, especially fish, was expensive down on the sea front) which buses to catch to the numerous and variable places up and down the coast and which tour operators to look out for. It is important that when booking a day trip out the operator will translate in English. Apparently this is not common!
We found our room airy and easily accessible - with clean linen and towels at the blink of an eye!
Towards the end of our holiday we had a really delightful evening courtesy of the Kineski Restoran which is situated at the entrance to the old town of Budva. Our hosts Dejan and Rade have made this eatery really very special and our 46th wedding anniversary was spent at the harbour side having a splendid meal with excellent views.
We have an album of very special photos and some memorable times, thank you.
I can't find enough words to describe this perfect experience! And I'm not easy to please... First of all, the staff is amazing. They're always there to meet your most demanding requests and their smile and friendly attitude would certainly make you feel at home. We arrived at 5 am (12 hours later than expected) and we were welcomed by the clerk who asked us if we wanted coffee/ tea or something to eat, even if it wasn't breakfast time. Snezana and Marija (the receptionists) are the best possible hosts, always willing to help.
As for accomodation, this can also easily exceed expectations. Our room (no 202) was very spacious, clean and quiet, even though it faced the street. Bathroom, towels and bed linen were immaculate.
Breakfast is varied and tasteful - meat and cheese selection, sardines, bacon, eggs, sausages, fresh vegetables, pastries, sweets, cereals, yoghurt, milk, natural juice, coffee, tea. Having it on the restaurant's terrace is a perfect way to start your day in beautiful Montenegro.
If possible, visit the nearby small towns, especially Sveti Stefan. Don't waste your time on the crowded and filthy Slovenska Beach, but go catch perfect sun and views over the Old City at Mogren Beach (5 min drive from this hotel). Have a perfect tasty, classy and romantic dinner at Konoba Stari Grad (on the shore, near the Old City's impressive walls).
Fineso is a 'bed & breakfast' hotel, which impressed us with its cleanliness, friendly helpful staff and really comfortable rooms. Unlike lots other 'b&b' in Budva, this place is worth to get back once more. Totally recommend
Great hotel in a quieter area of Budva. The area itself is not appealing but there are good restos around. Parking is a bit of a nightmare so luckily the hotel have some own arrangements. The lady in the reception is VERY friendly and gave us good trips what to visit. Hotel is nicely cleaned, and offers good breakfast.
nice location for international bus terminal
