Kovay Gardens

Everything was very nice, de villages were really nice, customers service was great and the food at the restaurants great as well, very recommended.

We had a lovely stay at Kovay Gardens. The grounds were absolutely stunning - a paradise of foliage that we got to walk through every day to and from the pool and ocean. There are so many pools and the main pool is stunning, the perfect temperature and great for kids. All of the seating is premium with beautiful cushions and umbrellas. The ocean is right beside the resort and features a beautiful lighthouse restaurant with amazing views of the sunset. Waves are not big, so that’s a minus if you care about that. Our room was beautiful, functional and had a full kitchen. There is an Oxxo right outside of the property for quick supplies. The staff is wonderful, particularly Diego at the front desk!

The only downside would be the food at the restaurants. The food was mediocre and quite expensive. The snack bar options were the best fit for us. If you cook in your room, venture out to a restaurant or order in, it would be best.

Overall, this was a wonderful experience and we would definitely return. We’ve travelled all over the area and this has been our favourite spot so far!

This was a vacation we will never forget the condo was awesome. The pools were amazing. The food delicious. Yummy drinks. Great service. Beautiful grounds. Felt completely safe and at home. The security here is amazing.

The resort is very nice, staff are exceptional and the beach access was great. Everything was well maintained. Felt very safe to just walk around town.

The location is great and the staff is amazing. You will enjoy your time there but be careful. I have been there twice and DO NOT BUY INTO THEIR TIMESHARE SCAM!! They will make you promises and lie to you about their program. Again the property is very nice and clean, but they only want you to visit so they can try and sell you their TIMESHARE SCAM. I can tell how it was when I have been there and let others know it is a SCAM. Buyer Beware THE TIMESHARE PART IS A SCAM!!

Very shady sales presentation. You tell me you can sell me a “partial ownership” for $100k and then you will send me $20k a year for ten years for me to let you rent my weeks?🤯 The numbers are impossible and it’s not clear what exactly you are buying. Stay away! There were NO people on the beach or the pools not looked pretty but this place is just so sad as I’m sure owners have been taken advantage of!😞

Absolutely gorgeous grounds and accommodations! Dining is available in the La Palma restaurant or in the restaurant located in the lighthouse, which I highly recommend. Diego and Diana were so helpful arranging everything we needed in a friendly and professional manner. All of the staff members in every area were most welcoming.

The facilities, grounds, and service were outstanding. Our first time back after 13 years and we were most pleased with the progress of the resort. Everyone was very helpful and engaging. We want to specifically recognize Carlos our waiter extraordinaire at the main pool and Easu at the secondary pool, both couldn’t have provided better service.

We have done a lot of traveling, and this is one of the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. The grounds are kept impeccably beautiful, and most of the staff is exceptional. We had one security guard who was rude to us on several occasions, but with the exception of him- everyone else was fabulous. The pools are gorgeous and the beach/protected bay are just amazing. I will definitely be back to this place to stay again. ❤️ Some construction is still happening, but it didn’t detract from our expertise or disturb us in the unit we stayed in. I can tell that once the complex and all the amenities are complete, this is going to be even more incredible!
Worth noting is that the neighborhood isn’t close to much in terms of Restaurants and shopping, but the front desk or gate security is happy to help B order and facilitate a taxi ride. Uber also works here, though pickup can be challenging due to dropped rides.

The staff are very nice people that treat you like family . We will come back and bring the kids next time to play in the pools.

Great place! We had a wonderful time. The food at the restaurant was very good, but the service is slow. The gardens are beautiful. The staff is always ready to help. I loved that it’s quiet and not crowded.

Kovay Gardens is one of the most beautiful establishments I’ve ever visited! My sister and I took a short trip for her birthday & the unit was gorgeous, clean and comfortable. The concierge was fantastic and quickly responsive! Though we knew there were other people staying there, it felt like we were on a private vacation on an empty resort— it was so peaceful, multiple private pools, beautiful gardens & the public pool was NEVER crowded. Not to mention the beachfront was absolutely breathtaking. We will be back!

We had a perfect visit to Kovay Gardens! Our 2 bedroom 2-1/2 bath condo was wonderful! And we had our own private pool! The condo is furnished with high end tiles and fixtures, and a large, fully-equipped kitchen. The grounds are exceptionally well-kept, with a feeling of tropical luxury everywhere. The staff was always friendly and eager to make our stay perfect in every way.

Kovay Gardens in La Cruz is hands down the way to experience Mexico! The resort is absolutely stunning, with multiple pools and bars that make relaxing effortless. Our villa was perfect - spacious, beautifully maintained, complete with a private jacuzzi and even a washer/dryer (a total game-changer).

The service? Impeccable. Everyone knew our names and treated us like VIPs from day one. They offer fantastic excursions and are super helpful with arranging transportation.

The on-site restaurants were incredible especially The Lighthouse. And for something more casual, we couldn’t get enough of Tacos Junior just across the street.

We didn’t use the grocery delivery service (a bit pricey), but honestly, we didn’t need it with so many great food options nearby.

Kovay Gardens won’t disappoint. trust me, just book it already!

Beautiful property. Beach service was spotty. Spacious, well-appointed rooms.

We had a lovely time here as a family.

The room was spacious and each room had its own bathroom.
The housekeeping was top notch. Lourdes was so kind, accommodating, and went out of her way for perfection.
The room was always clean, dishes done, and she would come back later if we asked her too. She even added an extra blanket to our bed because she noticed I rolled up into the fleece blanket every night (I run cold). Very kind. Carlos at the pool was so on top of keeping up with snacks and drinks. There are so many pools to choose from and hot tubs that are clean and perfect temperature. Oxxo is right across the dstreet as well as Taco Junior and we highly recommend it.
This location is about 45-55 minute taxi from downtown Puerto Vallarta, which is a little far but still easy for day trips.
Great location, great staff, excellent resort.
