Hotel & Spa El Castell de Ciutat

This hotel is in a beautiful and quiet area. Our room was impeccable with a great view on the mountains. Our dinner at the hotel was excellent. Easy parking and very welcoming staff.

Un hôtel avec beaucoup de charme et de chaleur ou il est bon séjourné pour profiter de ses installations et de la petite ville de la Seu d'Urgell. Un personnel très disponible et souriant, avec une mention spéciale pour Frederico.

Tout le personnel est très aimable, souriant, facilitant ce qui a aussi rendu notre séjour très agréable !

El hotel es perfecto, el servicio excelente. La piscina interior e exterior son grandes y tienen unas vistas a las montanas. Volveremos.

Tiene mucho que actualizar. Es un lugar con muchas posibilidades, que actualmente no está a la altura. Habitaciones anticuadas y zonas comunes para actualizar. El equipo humano muy amable y atento.
Cuando mejoren sus instalaciones volveré, un lugar idílico, en un entorno privilegiado.

An absolutely wonderful find! Highly recommended for Mountain views and the service was excellent , from start to finish. Dinner in the terrace was well worth it! Swimming and jacuzzi were good. Highly recommend 👍

Everything here was fantastic, the staff were very friendly and the foods are very delicious, the taste of the food was new.
They took a birthday cake for my wife:) she loved it so much

El hotel en sí está situado en buen lugar para desconectar y sin ser una zona masificada de turismo extranjero pero le hace falta mantenimiento. Zona jacuzzi y demás está un poco dejado. La habitación grande y no le falta detalle. Camas cómodas aunque solicité de matrimonio y no fue así para ser un 4 estrellas le falta ganarse esas estrellas

Necesitaria una renovacion, se nota el paso del tiempo, pero el personal es lo mejor.

Nous avons passé un séjour formidable dans cet hôtel ! Le personnel est aux petits soins, toujours souriant et attentionné. Les repas étaient excellents, avec des produits de qualité et bien préparés. Une expérience vraiment agréable, nous reviendrons avec plaisir !

Everything was top notch, room, staff, the restaurant was fabulous (please try it), clean and the sleep was the best quality. Very good parking. Can't praise this hotel enough. Sadly we didn t had a chance to check the pool and sauna as we checked in late. We will definitely visit again and stay longer.

The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location. The service was extremely poor. We booked and paid for a room for three people, including an additional fee for the third person. However, the hotel did not provide a duvet for the third guest. When we requested one, they simply told us they did not have any, leaving me freezing all night.

Additionally, the room was only stocked with towels, flip-flops, and glasses for two guests, despite our reservation for three. The service issues extended beyond the room—when we ordered facials, we received the wrong treatments. To make matters worse, the phone in our room was not working, so we had to walk to the reception for every request.

The food was disappointing and overpriced. The staff removed our plates while we were still eating, which felt rushed and unprofessional. Overall, this hotel failed to meet even basic service expectations, and I would not recommend it.

Una estancia muy agradable era un entorno muy acogedor las recepcionistas super amables y muy atentas , la habitación era muy acogedora y calentita , seguro que repetiremos!!

Incredibly friendly staff at all levels (Reception, Restaurant, Housekeeping and Spa), amazing food for dinner at the restaurant. Two issues prevent this place from getting top marks: we didn't have hot water for the first night and first morning in the shower. Secondly, due to some older infrastructure there is a knocking noise we heard throughout both nights which was the heating system working. The noise kept us from sleeping well and we left the hotel quiet tired. We did tell management and they took our concerns seriously and tried to compensate, however it's just a shame to not rest well after long days in the snow in nearby Andorra.
