Pros:

the breakfast was ok.

Cons:

When we arrived we could not cheked in, nobody answered the phone and the hotel was emty. I booked 3 rooms but we got only two rooms and could not contact the host. The water in the sink was yellow and the shower in the hall was very bad but the breakfast was ok. Please refound the third room as soon as possible.

Most basic accommodation of 50+ places I’ve stayed this year. £190 way over the top!!
Pros:

Lift worked fine. Room was warm. Internet was okay 50Mbs. Location was good with restaurant across the road.

Cons:

The rooms were very dated and very basic. No fridge, no tea or coffee making facilities, disposable plastic cup in the bathroom, no soap or body wash for the shower (there was hair wash dispenser), no shower screen but a curtain so all of bathroom floor wet and squeegee provided to mop floor, no bath mat supplied, cheap curtains that couldn’t shut to keep out the light.
There was no one to greet you.
Breakfast was very basic continental. Of two staff present, one acknowledged my greeting with a nod, the other looked up from phone briefly but quickly returned to phone. I was the only one and first to breakfast. Dining room lacked atmosphere with a noisy refrigerator the only sound and two people staring at phones nearby. The urinal in dining area bathroom was dirty.
My goodbye was acknowledged by the lady looking up and staring without comment, her partner didn’t look up from his phone.
Hôtel should not be included in the title of this venue. Value for money terrible.

Olafvik is de perfecte plaats om aan te doen voor een walvissentocht! Aanrader!!
Pros:

De ligging van het hotel was perfect, midden in het kleine plaatsje Olafsvik.

Cons:

Zoals in meer hotels is er geen of nauwelijks personeel zichtbaar of aanwezig. Dat maakt een en ander wat afstandelijk. De inrichting is ronduit gedateerd. Daarbij was het ontbijt hier echt te karig voor woorden, het was jammer dat wij dit erbij geboekt hadden. Dat was in alle andere plaatsen vele malen beter geregeld. Wij kregen de indruk dat men was vergeten boodschappen te doen. Een gesneden appeltje, paprikaatje, een paar plakjes beleg en een paar sneden brood, bijna lachwekkend. Wij hebben hierna maar een bakker bezocht. Maar goed, men lijkt in IJsland sowieso met een lagere levensstandaard genoegen te nemen, dus misschien is een en ander wel onvergelijkbaar en zijn wij gewoon te goed gewend.

Clean, spacious and with a central location.
Pros:

Spacious, clean and centrally located. Very handy to a great restaurant called Matarlist! Good, basic breakfast provided.

Cons:

Having a fridge in your room would be handy. They might consider putting a surround at the base of the shower to stop the wide spread of water - did provide a squeegee mop though!

Kanalgeruch im Zimmer bei der Ankunft. Für mich lösbar aufgrund technischesn Wissens. Für andere eventuell ein Problem.

Pros:

部屋も共用バスルームも清潔で、居心地良かったです。
セルフチェックインもメールで、とてもスムーズでした。
エレベーターがあって良かったです。
コーヒー、紅茶、水が飲めて、持ち込んだ食材で食事をすることができるラウンジがあり便利でした。
そこには電子レンジ、冷蔵庫も使えました。
ただ、時間制限があります。
朝食は種類もあり、ボリュームもあっておいしかったです。
スタッフは朝食の時1人だけ見ましたが、淡々とオレンジジュースを何回も運んでいて、感じが悪くもなくかわいらしいおじいちゃんに見えました。
口コミが悪かったので心配しましたが、トータルでみてもかなり良かったです。
ゲストハウスからちょっとした散歩できる場所がありちょうど良かったです。
近くにとても美味しいシーフードスープのレストランがあります。
