I had the best stay
Pros:

Booked this hotel because they were on promo (new to booking.com.) The price was less than half the normal price. Bed was comfortable, room was clean and they offee buffet breakfast at 26NZD. Great location as it is in front of Christchurch botanical garden. This hotel is on the top of my list when in Christchurch.

Pros:

Location was excellent. Just a short walk to restaurants. Hotel has restaurant but it is closed Mondays. Staff lovely and room was great.

We would use the hotel again and would recommend it to others attending events at Papa Hou.
Pros:

That we could park in the hotel carpark (although we thought it was pretty expensive), eat at the hotel restaurant, and attend an event at the adjacent theatre

Cons:

We did not expect to have to access our bathroom via the corridor. When I opened the bathroom door this morning to have my shower there was already (at 8.15am) a cleaner in there polishing the mirror...we still hadn't had breakfast, so still needed to use the bathroom for another hour, so by the time we checked out the bathroom would need to be cleaned again.
