Pros:

The place is the most picturesque place I've ever been. Post card views. It does take effort coming and going as it's about 100 steps down to the entrance. If you have a problem with that, stay away. About another 100 to our room....down. With that said the resort and views are to die for. Very pleasant staff. Thanks to the porters for taking care of the luggage up and down. Could provide more water since you can't drink from the tap.

We had a private pool, which was in pristine condition. The staff did an excellent job, of keeping our room clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good for a buffet.

Agali houses was a beautiful property and the staff was great! We had a stunning view of the ocean. Two things to note about the location; there was an extreme amount of stairs to get to the hotel and then depending on your room there may be more stairs. You also can’t flush toilet paper down the toilet due to the plumbing system on the island! On the last day we did notice a lot of ants but I am assuming this was due to the location because the hotel was very clean.
Overall if you can manage the stairs I highly recommend. The food was good and the pool was very relaxing.

Property is part way down the caldera with probably ~4 flights of stairs. Beautiful views, quiet and well cared for property. Lots of sun loungers to enjoy the caldera views! The layout of the bathroom is the only annoyance. Seems minor but you can’t fully open/close the bathroom door without standing in the shower. Also there’s no shower door so water splashing is an issue. Again, relatively minor but something to consider for the price.

Great accomodation - beautiful property that overlooks the caldera. We loved the balcony in our hotel. Property was clean and well kept. As like any Santorini accomodation you have to walk up and down some stairs. Highly recommend.

Loved it! All staff are amazing and Elena managed to get us bookings at barolo & Dimitris 2 days before us going with amazing sunset views in peak season. They went above and beyond and were so grateful! Can’t wait to return one day x

We really enjoyed our stay. We felt so welcomed since the moment we arrived. The lady in the front desk even gave us a great restaurant recommendation. The hotel was very clean and had amazing views. We also enjoyed the food options they had to offer. Would totally recommend for those who want a nice and peaceful stay in Santorini. Since it has so many great qualities to offer.

Wonderful property in a beautiful area of Santorini with spectacular sunset views of the caldera. The staff were particularly helpful and kind when checking in and answering queries. The room was spacious and clean with a great veranda to sit out on. There are a rather lot of stairs to get down to the hotel from the main trail but don’t be put off, if you’re able bodied, it’s worth it! The only thing I can think of to improve would be an on sight bar / restaurant which is open for evening meals, however lunch by the pool was 5*. Would 100% return.

One of the most beautiful places in Santorini. Lots of stairs, but that’s to be expected in Santorini. Gianni’s (bartender), was amazing and made our days around the pool. Views were amazing and we couldn’t have asked for our stay to be any better.
