Die Lage des Hotels nahe der Ringstraße 1, die passende Position zu unserer Routenplanung.

Vorweg: Die (vermutliche) Leiterin des Hauses und ein Teil des Personals haben sich große Mühe gegeben, unseren Ärger zu kompensieren. Das wissen wir zu schätzen. Aber dennoch:
Das gebuchte Zimmer erschien uns im Vergleich zu den vorherigen Hotelbuchungen gleicher Preiskategorie wesentlich schlechter in der Qualität und Ausstattung. Ein probeweise durchgeführter Preischeck zu den aktuellen Zimmerpreisen zeigte auch deutlich niedrigere Preise im Vergleich zu unserer Buchung.
Bei unserer Ankunft haben wir einen Tisch für das Abendessen reserviert. Es wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass es ein Buffet gebe und die Tischreservierung für 19:00 Uhr bestätigt. Um 19:00 Uhr waren aber alle Tische besetzt, wir wurden gebeten, in einer halben Stunde wiederzukommen. Um 19:30 Uhr wurde dann vor unseren Augen ein freier Tisch vergeben. Erst unsere folgende intensive Ansprache des Themas brachte uns einen Tisch. So etwas ist unnötig wie ein Kropf und verdirbt einem die gute Laune.

good Hotel in a small village
Pros:

When we arrived our room was upgraded, so it was a good size, the man on reception was friendly. We didn't find the bed very comfortable. we could help ourselves to hot drinks through the day, which was good. We had dinner on 2 evenings, food was fine, but we didn't have breakfast. The parking is very good outside.

Wir hatten ein Problem mit dem Fenster in unserem Zimmer. Das Personal hat sofort reagiert und uns ein neues Zimmer gegeben. Das Zimmer war super und es ist wirklich sauber. Das Frühstück war klasse, man konnte sich selber Waffeln machen.

Unforgettable stay in Iceland

Great hospitality. The genuine kindness of the staff made our stay perfect, by creating a fantastic atmosphere to help us celebrate our special occasion. The hotel is in a scenic location, the room was clean and with a pretty design, the hotel has a fantastic lounge, sauna and a hot tub. The food in restaurant was very tasty both breakfast and dinner.
