A wonderful hotel! I would like to thank all the staff and especially Mr. Ahmed. We will definitely come back again.
Beautiful hotel.
Thank you all team
This hotel is very nice.
I will come back again to stay there it is my favorite hotel
Thank you Mr / Ahmed ❤️
Nice hotel
We have been there. With friends , the hotel was good. We had visited pyramids there it was fantastic day. Only 2 km from sphinx. Pyramids
was everything okay? Not acceptable was water problem no water cold hot water is very very hot. What was nice cleaning was okay my room is balcony door was broke. I asked many times. Repair it but not taking any serious. Ask hot cold water. Repair it now taking the scene. No we need to be the customer service rubbish and they charge me more money than was agreed 95.
Only some of staff was good like receptionist , the manger was so rude and asked me to pay more than the price in Expedia , the hotel not deserve that amount
, There's something under construction made a lot of noise around the hotel , room was a small , in front of the hotel there are garbage
Nothing
This hotel is disgusting! Very dated but also dirty and severely run down.
Our flight was cancelled so we were left with limited accommodation choices. We therefore paid well over the odds for one night. Our first room was awful so we asked to be moved. Second room marginally better.
On the positive side the bed was clean and the staff were very nice.
On the negative side - everything else!
Cafe underneath played music really loud late into the night. Pool area is all closed as is the Terrace area. Restaurant only open for breakfast which was really not good. Area feels quite unsafe and heavenly construction work that will be going on for years outside (new metro).
Overall - do not stay here!
I booked only to find a very run down place with no reservation done for me. They told me they have no room or place for me to stay. Thank you.
The pillows were very dirty. The toilet was very bad
Arrived in the dark and it didn't look too bad, but we asked if they had a restaurant and was told yes, but he forget to tell us it was closed, so we had to go in the coffee shop which when we got the food it was very greasy and unpleasant, it says tea and coffee in room but there was nothing so we asked for kettle and cups which were paper and when looked at were all sticky inside, so presumed they had been washed out. The outlook from balcony was like a rubbish tip, lock on safe broken and the bathroom was awful. We checked out later that day even though we were supposed to stay 3 days, and not one member of staff asked us what was wrong, they just let us leave. Please do not go in this hotel its horrible.
A little worried when we arrived (hubby and I traveled together). When we walked into the lobby there were a bunch of teenage kids making a lot of noise, talking, laughing, etc. It was after 10:00 at night so we thought this was strange. Our room had a broken glass balcony, part of the carpet was pulled up and could be easily tripped over. The phone in the room was filthy. There was mold in the bathroom at the floor and shower. Just didn't look very clean at all. I have pictures I will post. We were able to see the pyramid in the far distance but looking out our balcony we saw a lot of trash just across from the hotel. It was extremely noisy from the constant horns beeping. Trust me, "constant" is not an exaggeration! Breakfast was not very good but I guess since I've never been to Egypt or had Egyptian food maybe it's just what they eat. Not appetizing to us though. The orange juice was more like a watered down orange drink. There was not an outside pool as it shows in the picture. There was an indoor pool but it was covered up and the area was made into something like a wedding area. We booked this trip through Travel Zoo and Travel-O-Deal so they chose the hotel. We stayed there a total of 5 nights I believe and it was okay but when they say it's a 4 star hotel keep in mind that 4 stars in Egypt is not the same as 4 stars in the U.S. In the U.S. it would have been considered more of a 1 star in my opinion. There were guards at the entrance also.
Very warm stuff, friendly and smileling. I feeling safe in this hotel. And the Egiptian food in Milano restaurant is just out of this Word. The best chief in Egipt works here. Although rooms need renovation I still strongly recommend this hotel. Not expensive stay in Giza. And nice wiev of pyramids.
Very old and dirty hotel, especially the bathroom. Breakfast is good but repetitive and there is no buffet
This hotel needs a total renovation. The room is dirty, stained carpets in the room, hallways, moldy bathroom walls and shower curtains. It smells like cigarettes because smoking is allowed throughout. The room door had ridges as if someone tried to break in which felt unsafe. The hallway lighting is dim which adds to the feeling of being unsafe. The staff did their best to make our stay comfortable but the environment made it impossible to feel comfortable or safe. The noise from the traffic was deafening even in the wee hours of the morning. It just never got quiet. It was also noisy in the hallway. We stayed one night only because we could not allow ourselves to stay any longer. We asked to be transferred to another hotel when we returned to Cairo from the Nile cruise. No travel company should book this hotel for their guests. It is inhabitable.
Very rude staff working at reception, we didn't even get to stay in hotel, we were simply turned away!!!
I don’t recommend anyone to stay at this hotel as really poor customer services skills even the customer service employee was A threat me as if I didn’t bring my marriage certificate he will cxl the reservation though I have given him my ID and my wife ID written on it she married to me but unfortunately he didn’t accept it also he promised me to give a room with separate A/C not a central one but after we finish the process and we check in the room we find our self in room with bad AC asked to cxl our booking after we check in with 30 mins but he told me he need to deduct half of the room charge for no reason has give but at the end was there night manager he just did reconciliation and did refund my money
The receptionist his Name Ramadan was really treating me badly with bad behaviour though I’m a customer who’s pay to the hotel
I’m not happy at all and was hopeless experience don’t any wish for any one to face the same time
The oldest and most filthy hotel I have seen in my life, the entire place smells cigarettes, WiFi doesn’t work at all , the food terrible . The is too much notice . The hotel need to close for revamp as soon as possible . The lift did not even work..
We booked this hotel based on the Aracan name, as we have stayed several times in the Aracan Eatabe Luxor, where we have alway enjoyed a clean and very friendly environment with great service.
I was deeply disappointed when I arrived after a very long journey from the UK to a dirty foyer and a very run down looking room with a bathroom in a state of disrepair. Staff were not very helpful and the food at breakfast was poor at best.
As for the pool area, this was clearly not available to guests and appeared to be permanently decorated for weddings and special occasions.
The only good point was Milano's coffee shop/cafe/bar.
Booked into this hotel with a friend as we have stayed in the Aracan Etabe Luxor many times and assumed it was to the same standards.
Hotel in general in poor repair and was dirty. Bedrooms dirty with signs of disrepair, lack of towels for two people. Reception staff disinterested and not welcoming. When asked for a kettle was told it wasn’t his problem and waited 2 days for one to appear. Food for breakfast was poor with little choice. Had to ask for items to be replenished and flask for tea was broken and difficult to use. On one occasion had to wait for access to restaurant as it had not been cleaned from earlier use. Swimming pool inaccessible as set up for weddings throughout our stay.
Would not return or recommend to anyone. Staff require training on customer service and hotel in general needs bringing up to standard.
Only saving grace was the Milano cafe, staff attentive and food was good.
I checked in June 1st and checked out June 1st. Pictures on Expedia are not accurate. Very old and very tiny room. When we pulled up it looked closed and they gave my wife and I a twin size bed. We booked for a king. Shower didn’t work, flies everywhere. We ended up going to Sheraton Cairo Hotel and Casino. So save your money on this hotel and just spend the money on Sheraton. Also they said they will refund me the other two days I didn’t stay and no word from them yet.
