Great staff and location, but VERY noisy fridge
Pros:

The hotel is lovely, located in a very nice and safe area with lots of green spaces around. The room is massive, with a very comfy bed & pillows, tons of plugs, and all the amenities you need. You can also adjust the temperature to your liking as there is a heater that also works as air con and can cool down or warm up the room instantly based on your needs. Everyone in the staff is really nice, and it's also close to the centre of Mayfaire with several nice restaurants nearby. It's also at a good distance for both the beach and downtown and I think most guests would really love it here!

Cons:

The main thing was the SUPER noisy fridge inside the room, whose buzzing was so loud that it felt like someone was drilling a hole in the room next door. All the time, the very loud noise would start and go on for 20 mins, then stop and there'd suddenly be silence for 10-15m, then loud again, and so on. This also happened during the night and I pretty much didn't sleep at all, as you can't even unplug it from the wall to make it stop. If you're someone who can sleep through everything, it won't be a problem for you, but if you're like me and need there to be silence to sleep, then it would be an issue.

The fridge was really the main issue. Personally, as a European, I didn't like breakfast at all (no healthy options, very few continental options, bad coffee) but this is the norm for most hotels in the US so I'm sure someone from here wouldn't have my same reaction :-)

Upgrades are needed, but the stay was lovely!
Pros:

Location, staff, and amenities were amazing!

Cons:

Upgrades to paint, wallpaper, flooring, and furnishing are needed due to natural wear and tear. The mattress, though, is horrible and hard as a rock.

Awesome hotel.
Pros:

This hotel is centrally located in Wilmington. It's a great place to stay if you want to take in everything that Wilmington has to off. The rooms are clean. The pool is heated, and they have 2 hot tubs. Free breakfast and Wednesday nights they have a guest reception . I would book a room here again
