Quite and nice place

An excellent hotel in a good location with very friendly staff. Room was spot on and food very good if slightly on the expensive side.

I'm not the spa type but work colleagues that were with me say it was also excellent.

Very expensive for this hotel and service.

We had a delightful stay at this hotel in Palanga. The location is conveniently situated a short 10-minute drive from the city center, perfect for beach outings or enjoying walks and bike rides. The rooms are exceptionally clean and feature comfortable beds. We thoroughly enjoyed the spa facilities, including the saunas and pool. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering a wide variety of delicious options. We would definitely choose to stay here again.

Hotell was very clean and well maintained constantly. Staff were always welcoming and caring. Spa was small and cozy, everything you needed was there and good selections of saunas and pools. Maybe they could add a salt sauna. Room was also comfortable, quiet and every detail thought through, the bed was so soft and wide. Only negative was on Saturday night there were some people outside talking sometimes in front of the hotel, maybe from the restaurant partying or something. I guess it depends where the room is located. The wifi was so fast, we watched our tv shows and it never lagged. Exceptional breakfast choices and tastes. Definetely would want to visit again.

The hotel has 5stars. However, I would give max 4. It requires renewal and renovation. The biggest advantage- outside pool. The hotel has flaws though: no iron, old furnitures, out fashion carpets.

The room was clean and tidy, though quite simple (we booked a standard room) and I wasn't a fan of wood paneling and plaid fabrics. The bed was very comfy.
We especially loved the SPA area. There are two of them - one for everyone and one for people over 16. The latter (Golden SPA) was very beautiful and we loved the private time in the Princesses' pool.
The hotel was very quiet and peaceful even though we visited it on a busy weekend.
I am taking one star away because of the restaurant. It is supposed to be a high-end restaurant (the prices reflect that) and we had our anniversary dinner there. When booking the table, we were pressured to decide right away if we wanted a buffet table or an a la carte dinner and the managing lady very reluctantly gave way and let us decide later (and later, when we came to dine, there was no buffet table after all). My husband ordered pork, his meal was quite good, I ordered duck and it was one of the blandest duck dishes I had ever tasted - some pieces of duck breast, mashed potatoes and 3 or 4 pieces of a broccoli. I had to order additional veggies to be able to have a half-decent meal. The dessert (creme brule) was nice though. The "cherry on the top" was when we noticed that we were charged for a "musical evening" (there was a singer). We were sat right by the singer, the sound settings were too loud - we could barely converse with each other when she was singing. The musical evening started at 8 PM, we came for dinner at 7 PM, left at around 8.15, were not informed about the additional charge and noticed it only later in the receipt.
Breakfast in the morning, however, was very good with plenty of variety of food.
The stay would have been great, save for the dining experience.

Located 30 minutes from Klaipeda and 10 minutes from Palanga Airport, Vanagupe Hotel in Palanga is hotel with spa and conference centre. Good spa and gymnasium and outdoor swimming pool. Bar and all day dining restaurant. Two outdoor tennis courts.

We had a beautiful stay in Vanagupe hotel at time of our tradition Vodniki meeting 23.09-25.09.22! Thank a lot to Edita! The restaurant’s offer/dishes were exquisite, the all staff – very friendly and helpful, specialy thanks to Elena. The rooms – super comfortable. I really liked Vanagupe’s SPA: the hotel offers steam bath, aroma , ice room, and spacy lounge area. I would definitely choose this place for our future meetings. Highly recommended.

Breakfast could have more options. Room with small balcony but no chairs in the balvony to sit and relax. Room was clean.

Surprisingly everything was spot on. This hotel is a bit expensive on a Lithuanian scale. Rooms are small but overall comfortable. Breakfast and food was excellent.

Avoid this hotel if you are planning to stay with a pet!!! You are paying for your pet stay ,but is so dangerous in hotel room for your pet ... So many gaps where your small pet can stuck and no one will help you!!! Receptionist at all not helpfull and even rude service !!! Food is terrible ! Not worst to pay suck a big money to stay in this hotel! Not a 5* star service ! Shame on you !!! Around is much better you can find HOTEL!

Wonderful hotel – restaurant food is amazing, rooms are cosy and super comfortable (beds perfect – sheetings, matresses and etc.), breakfast wonderful and plenty of choises (many berries, fruits, meals and etc). The hotel pays attention to every detail – prepartion for the evening (chocolates, uncovering beds, preparing towels for the feet on the floor), attention to the little child and much more details). To sum up its a perfect place for everybody to satisfy anybody needs. 10/10.

We have stayed at this hotel several times over the past ~ 10 years.

This time we found that amenities, and especially the restaurant had improved.

We styed for the second time in room 1303 at the rear of the hotel, which overlooks fine mature forest, which is much better than the front of this hotel, which overlooks a delapadated public swimming pool.

Unfortunately, there is still NO haldrail to the inside swimming pool.
The restaurant was improved service excellent and meat portions large.
