Ik ben erg kritisch maar dit hotel is TOP! Met mooi weer heb je gegarandeerd een prachtige vakantie!
Pros:

Het personeel, de uitstraling en stijl van het hotel. Daarbij de restaurantjes met veel keuze in lekker eten. De cocktails en drankjes bij de barretjes waren heerlijk en van goede kwaliteit! De kamers, toiletten, strand en zwembad waren erg netjes en schoon. De bedjes bij het zwembad en het strand waren top iedereen had plek en de mega ligbedden waren perfect, op tijd opstaan als je deze wilt bemachtigen.

Cons:

Er is niets wat mij niet beviel, overal was aan gedacht.

Wij hadden een maand voor de vakantie de restaurants gereserveerd, dit raad ik zeer zeker aan! Wij aten elke dag met zonsondergang want deze zijn prachtig op deze locatie. Het nummer om te reserveren kan je vragen via mail of Booking.com chat.

We hebben een geweldige bestemming leren kennen!
Pros:

De kamers waren zeer goed, enkel de ligzetel waarop een 3de persoon kon slapen was eerder aan de kleine kant en minder comfortabel. Verder was alles heel goed in orde.
Ook het eten was zeer lekker en de bediening zeer vriendelijk.

Cons:

We hadden verwacht dat er in de welness ook een sauna, hammam, infrarood, ... was maar het was enkele een klein zwembad en de mogelijkheid om behandelingen te volgen.
De ligzetel was minder comfortabel en eigenlijk niet zo ideaal om een 3de volwassen persoon op te laten slapen.

A deeply disappointing and expensive week that felt more like living on a construction site
Pros:

The one genuine highlight was the staff—throughout the entire hotel they were genuinely lovely, accommodating, and wonderful people. The kids club staff in particular were engaging and great with the children.

Cons:

The resort felt like an active construction site. The pool was dirty with floating plastic bottles on arrival, a construction truck was parked outside our room with no clear removal date, and the air reeked of tar and burning materials throughout our stay. Our newly constructed room smelled heavily of paint, and we found improperly cut cables and debris left inside—particularly concerning with two young children, including a baby. Outside our door, staff stored enormous bags of dirty laundry and cleaning supplies.

The air conditioning was stuck on cooling mode for the entire stay, even when nighttime temperatures dropped to thirteen degrees—after five complaints, a technician finally admitted the entire building's system needed to be switched over to heating. The kids club kept children inside a convention center all week, even on sunny days when temperatures reached twenty-two degrees. The steak restaurant required a five-day wait to book, and when we finally got there the steaks were dry and the salads uninspired. Service across the hotel was slow, with waits of up to twenty minutes even for a simple coffee.

My stay was phenomenal, and I will return.
Pros:

This resort is truly exceptional, from the warm and welcoming staff to the fantastic amenities. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a villa that had its own private pool, which made our holiday even more enjoyable. I can't wait to return! We often share our wonderful experiences about the resort and how much we loved our time in Crete. A heartfelt thank you to all the staff; your efforts really made a difference!

Mitsis Rinela let down
Pros:

Aesthetically this resort is beautiful. The beach and views are beautiful. Our room was tidy and clean and had everything you need.

Cons:

Our swim up pool was absolutely freezing cold. We couldn’t even swim in it even on a hot sunny day. Most of the staff was friendly, however there was this one receptionist who was very rude to us with every encounter. We had just come from Dreams Corfu all inclusive, the swim up pool temperature was alot more pleasant to swim in cold but not freezing and the restaurant quality for food was a lot better aswell as the service. We received 5 star service from all their staff which is what we paid for and expected the same at Mitsis Rinela but didn’t get, which was disappointing because we booked based on reviews.
