We loved our stay and didn't want to leave!

Well maintained establishment that has stood the test of time. Lovely staff. Enjoyed my 3 night stay
Pros:

Great location. Awesome view from our room. Although old it didn’t seem to be dated like some others. Gym & pool were nice as well.

Cons:

Parked car front of building which seemed a distance but then found second entrance close to elevator

Beautiful place to stay out of central Auckland
Pros:

Stayed in an Ambassador Suite - a great corner room with views over the lagoon. It had a lounge, bedroom and small kitchen, so very well appointed. Super comfy, spacious and had everything we needed. We had breakfast at the restaurant too, which was of a good standard. We walked/ran around the lagoon both mornings - so beautiful, just over 3km around.

Was a great experience.
Pros:

Continental Breakfast was fantastic.
Great staff, helpful when asked.
Smorgasbord Dinner was great value, great food.

Cons:

Scrambled eggs were not good, hot food was not hot.
Could have done with more towels for 2 women
Only 1 teaspoon in room and only 1 Hot chocolate
