Location is spot on central tram to central right outside the hotel place is old same as all city budget hotels in Amsterdam you get what you pay for

Está a 30 min andando de la estación de tren (unos 10 min en tranvía, la parada está justo abajo en el puente). Todo queda cerca. También hay un supermercado al lado.
Las sábanas tenían agujeros y alguna mancha (estaban limpias, supongo que será del desgaste, pero hacen feo)
The location was perfect and the staff were brilliant
The bathroom had mould around the shower. When you took a shower water went into the room as drainage wasn’t good. There were no batteries in the remote control for the tv

The location was fantastic. We had originally booked another hotel but left after one night (booked 3) because it was awful! The reception staff, particularly Joseph here at the Armada was so lovely and helpful & welcomed us after having to pack up and move here - loved the view from our room 202 to!
The wall could’ve done with a lick of paint and no TV when we wanted to chill for an hour but these weren’t big things and didn’t dampen a wonderful stay.

The biggest plus of this hotel is the location. This is my second time staying here for that reason. The area is pretty quiet and chill at night but you're only a 5 minute walk from busy bars, coffeeshops and restaurants. You can also get a tram just outside the train station that drops you right outside the front door of the hotel which is very handy. The hotel itself is okay for accessing and the front desk staff were friendly.
This was my second time staying here. Unfortunately their cleanliness hadn't improved.
My first experience here the walls of the room were covered in stains and the rooms are far from soundproof but bearable. This time the room was dirtier than the previous visit. Again the walls of the room were covered in stains and even footprints. Bedsheets definitely looked like they hadn't been cleaned with hairs and bits of dirt all over them. The towels looked suspiciously like they hadn't been changed either and then the next day room service took the two hand towels (one of which you 100% need as a floor mat for getting out of the shower) and never replaced any.
There is also no hand soap.
You are awakened pretty early by the sound of doors slamming. The TV didn't work on either visit along with the broken lamp hanging off the wall ironically enough on both visits. The Aircon doesn't turn off and every so often makes a weird noise for a while.
Second time round staying at this hotel was a disappointment. The only plus side is the amazing location.
If they sorted the cleanliness of the hotel it would be amazing spot but not sure if I could stay again. Having seen previous reviews recently about people finding bedbugs on their stay, my skin itches just writing this.
