Very friendly, polite, and professional staff, including the receptionists, manager, and all the female staff members. Everyone was kind and helpful. We also really appreciated having breakfast available. The hotel has a very central location, with all the main historical and tourist attractions within walking distance. The room was very clean.
We arrived at 8 p.m. after travelling all day and only then found out that the hotel had overbooked and had no room available. The staff had tried to contact me by WhatsApp at 5 p.m., but I had no connection while travelling, and this was already after the 2 p.m. check-in time. I’m not sure whether the mistake was with Booking.com or the hotel’s system. Fortunately, the manager solved the issue within 5 min. and arranged a room for us in a neighboring hotel for one night. However, we had to pack and move back to the original hotel the next day.
The second unexpected issue was the room windows. The photos show rooms with windows, which could give the impression that they face the outside. In reality, the windows of the rooms face the hotel’s interior hall.
This creates several problems. First, in order to get fresh air into the room, you have to open the windows facing the hall. Guests walk through the hall, so there is inevitably some noise, especially when people arrive late or get up early in the morning. During our stay, one guest played music at full volume while taking a shower, and the sound echoed throughout the entire hall. Thankfully, the staff responded quickly and the guest turned the music off, but by then our sleep was already disturbed.
The most unpleasant issue was the light from the hallway. It shines into the room throughout the night. Although there are motion sensors, the light keeps turning on and off whenever someone passes through the hall, so it can continue flashing until the last guest arrives or the first guest wakes up in the morning. The curtains do not completely block the light, and the small window above the door has no curtain at all.
There is also not enough seating for all guests during breakfast, so there can be a queue and you may have to wait for a table.

el precio, mas esta bien para ir solo por una noche, no con familia. Cochabamba se ha convertido en una ciudad muy bonita y limpia y Monserrat no acompaña ese cambio
el baño no funciona bien, no se porque en Bolivia la mayoría de los hoteles de esta categoría te piden no botar el papel higiénico en el inodoro, es antigénico
Staff helpful and gave our room early, as our bus arrived early. Located close to Plaza Colon, cafes and restaurants. Room was snug, with clean bathroom. Firm bed. Safe and secure hotel. We were there during teachers strikes/ blockades. Breakfast was fresh and tasty.
Our room had internal window and square glass tiles to outside. No views
