Pros:

Extremely clean, great location and easy to find free street parking around the hotel. The rooms are kept in exceptional shape and cleaned thoroughly everyday.

Cons:

The issue with the hotel is that, like a bed and breakfast, you are not entitled to all the privacy you may want. There are 2 hosts. Each time you leave and enter the hotel, you have to deposit your room key. The nighttime host was such a nice, helpful gentleman. The daytime host, while nice and helpful, is intrusive and can make people uncomfortable. I would still recommend the hotel, but just know that you will be interacting with the hosts quite a bit throughout your stay.

I would absolutely stay here again and I would recommend this place to everyone I know. Absolutely loved it
Pros:

It was well located, we were able to walk to all our excursion meet ups. Any questions we asked were researched and followed up with a printed paper and a map of walking instructions. Every night our bed was turned down with a chocolate on the pillow and finally, the morning breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

I could see where parking could be an issue although we did not have one and the proprietors was very helpful with instructions

piccolo Hotel molto confortevole vicino al centro. Staff gentilissimo, pronto ad aiutare in qualsiasi cosa. Camera ampia e pulita. Non c'è colazione a buffet ma offrono una colazione dolce/salata un un piatto, comunque soddisfacente.

Forse il prezzo un po' elevato, ma siamo negli standard islandesi

Small, cosy hotel, close to centre, welcoming staff
Pros:

It's more an extended B&B than a hotel, very cosy and personal. Warm, friendly staff, genuine hospitality. My room was quite large and comfortable. It went to the garden side and was very quiet. The location is very good, close to several bus stops (3 minutes) and just 5 minutes to the main shopping street. The breakfast is good and served individually, not a buffet. Special wishes are accommodated, if possible.

Super accueil, propreté et calme dans une atmosphère "cosy"

L'accueil (gentillesse , disponibilité...) la propreté, le calme... et nous sortions de 15 jours en camping car, donc d'autant plus appréciable ;).
Draps et serviettes (douces) sentent bons... Petit chocolat sur l'oreiller... Petite bouilloire (prévoir néanmoins son infusion, thé ou café instantané). Petit déjeuner diversifié et copieux proposé entre 7h30 et 9h30.
Si la vie n'était pas SI ONÉREUSE (pour les européens en tout cas) j'y retournerai volontiers lors d'un séjour sur place.

Hotelli on erittäin rauhallinen, hotellin ulkopuolella myös hiljaista. Hotellista on jonkin verran kävelymatkaa (noin 1-1,5 km) keskustan parhaisiin ravintoloihin, mutta kävely ruokailun päätteeksi tekee vain hyvää. Järjestettyjen retkien pick-up -pysäkkejä löytyy hyvin läheltä.
Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja runsas, ja se tarjoiltiin pöytään.
Henkilökunta erittäin ystävällisiä ja avuliaita, kertoivat Islannista ja antoivat hyviä neuvoja.
Huoneemme oli tilava ja siisti.
Oli mukavaa, että paikalla oli aina henkilö.

Cons:

Ainoa puute oli, että huoneessa ei ollut jääkaappia. Voisi myös olla hyvä, jos respasta saisi ostaa kylmiä juomia. Toisaalta, ihan lähellä on hyvin varusteltu 24/7 kauppa.
