Brauchbar und charmant! Gute Lage, gute Anbindung und Gegend in einer der tollsten Städte Europas
Pros:

Die Lage war schön ruhig in einem ansprechenden Wohngebiet nahe des Verkehrsknotenpunktes Amstelstation, von der aus man mit der Metro in ca 20 min im Zentrum ist. Des Weiteren sind eine Tramstation und zahlreiche Restaurants und Geschäfte fußläufig gut erreichbar. Was richtig genial ist: man kann sich beim Hotel direkt selber Fahrräder ausleihen und damit die Gegend unsicher machen! Damit kommt man in Amsterdam sehr weit. Das Budget Hotel selber ist - typisch niederländisch - mit relativ steilen Treppen ausgestattet, die jedoch immer sicher begehbar sind. Das Zimmer selber war schön hell. Es gibt einen Kaffeeautomaten, Snack- und Getränkeautomaten im Eingangsbereich. Die Rezeption ist 24 h besetzt, was wirklich angenehm ist. Der Zimmerservice war tip top.

Cons:

Trotz gestelltem Ventilator und Verdunklung war das Zimmer tagsüber teils ziemlich heiß und ließ sich auch bei Dauerlüften kaum abkühlen. Es war jedoch noch aushaltbar (wir waren drei Tage mit Höchsttemperaturen zwischen 24 und 28 Grad zu Gast). Die Zimmer sind eher klein und das Bad noch kleiner, was für Einzelreisende völlig ok ist, für mehrere Reisende pro Raum jedoch schon etwas arg eng.

Great place to stay for a couple of nights, the personnel was great and very helpful before and after checking in, answered every question and request
