Breezes Beach Club & Spa – Half Board

Resort is beautiful, pool is excellent. Some seaweeds at the beach. Food was very good. Staff is mostly very pleasant. It would be nice to see more smiling faces on vacation.

Mysigt hotell med jätte trevlig personal. Lite behov av renovering och upgradering i vissa områden. Rekommenderas varmt. Bokat med HP. Mat och dryck höll bra standard.

What an experience. One of the more quieter and nicer all inclusive resorts on Zanzabar. 1/2 board though, but breakfast and dinner were ample buffets. Lots of local dishes and for such a remote place, much of the food is locally sourced. Fruit at breakfast and desserts made with local ingredients are standouts. Different themed buffets at dinner nightly. Lunch was always snacks at the beach which included a top notch chicken tikka tandoori and nan.

Would highly recommend as staff was always eager to please.

After 4 weeks of safaris in 3 countries we wanted a place to replace before our long flight home. Mission accomplished. The breeze at the edge of the beach was wonderful. We had great AC and the staff was friendly and accommodated my wife’s allergies very well we can’t say enough good things.

A solid all rounder with a lovely beach view. Service excellent but needs updating and upgrading in parts - especially as regards in room facilities and gym - to be a true 5* hotel. Staff lovely though and it’s a well oiled machine in terms of its half board food options.

Lovely white sandy beach, turquoise waters, excellent food and cocktails and superb staff. Good value for money.

Top hotel

Pour ceux qui sont habitués aux services et confort d’un 5 étoiles je déconseille fortement cet hôtel. Il correspond plus à un 3 étoiles, standard européen.

Breezes Beach Club is an amazing small sized resort (there are probably 60 odd rooms but it doesn't give you this impression) where together with my family spent 8 wonderful days.

I'll start off by saying that the resort is extremely clean in all public spaces, the flora is nicely maintained every day, it's a closed resort so you don't have to be concerned being secure (although in my mind it's not necessary), it has a clean beach, security on the beach as well as you will encounter local people selling stuff (they are the same every day. they are friendly but sometimes can be persistent).

The resort has most facilities that you would expect (spa and gym - haven't used), a diving centre, a water sports centre, plenty of bars, a TV room and library etc. Why a TV room? Well, it's because they don't have TVs in rooms.

The wifi is really good and you can access it from anywhere within the resort, even on the beach.

The room is standard but will lots of storage space, nice features such as a baldachin to protect against mosquitos. We had a lovely room with sea view and it was amazing. You also have subject to the room, a nice outdoor space with a table and chairs.

The food was absolutely amazing. And I'm a picky eater. There was a combination of 4 nights buffet and 3 nights with a set menu which was perfect. The set menus at least, you could tell that they have well prepared chefs or actually employ international ones.

A kids club would be something good to have in future.

Prachtige accommodatie. Vriendelijke staf en vriendelijk personeel. Soms wat chaotisch maar dat is Afrika..

Magnifique séjour.
Seconde fois à Zanzibar et je n’ai pas été déçue. L’hôtel est magnifique au sein d’un jardin sublime, la plage est propre et calme. Les repas préparé avec soin, la propreté des lieux est impeccable, les chambres spacieuses. En prime une équipe très bienveillante , des femmes de chambre au manager de l’hôtel! Je recommande vivement.

Had a great time at Breezes. The staff and food was the best part of the stay (not buffet style). Room was nice, fairly roomy and had the standard amenities. Comes with bottled water replenished once per day but might need more depending on your consumption/activity that day. Only downside is it's an hour from Stone Town. But there are enough activities locally to spend time on...or you can just relax and hangout. half board (breakfast and dinner) was enough to keep us fed for the day. They also accommodated dietary needs, adjusting ingredients as needed. Did gluten free well (spouse has severe allergy), no ill effects so they did well.

Superb place to stay and you could not wish for a more enjoyable, pleasing experience. Absolutely fantastic food, staff and service. Would go back tomorrow.
