Breakfast - too crowded - table not clean - waiting too long for gluten free bread- maybe reorganizing the breakfast buffet to avoid customers to touch at every thing without being aware of consequences and put people having allergies at risk

Hôtel de très grande qualité, que ce soit la chambre, les services ou la restauration.
Très paisible, idéal pour un week-end en amoureux.

Cons:

L'emplacement de l'hôtel ne fait pas rêver mais si le but comme nous était de rester profiter de l'hôtel, de son resto et du spa c'est parfait.
Une virée dans la ville en front de mer à 6km (pas Middelbourg) reste sympa néanmoins

Cons:

Wir fahren schon lange und öfters in dieses Hotel und fühlen uns dort immer sehr wohl, wir haben einen kleinen Kritikpunkt, früher war die Bar immer bis 12 00 Uhr geöffnet, seit die Bar verlegt wurde, passiert es regelmäßig, dass das Personal schon um 10 30 Uhr Tür schließt und niemanden mehr reinlässt, das finden wir einfach schade.

Restaurant Essen eher nicht gut.

Immer eine Reise Wert
Pros:

Da ich bereits zum zweiten beziehungsweise dritten Mal im Van der Valk Hotel Middelburg war und generell ein grosser Fan der Van der Valk Hotels bin, waren meine Erwartungen natürlich hoch und wie immer wurde ich nicht enttäuscht.

Das Hotel ist extrem modern, stilvoll eingerichtet und überall sehr sauber. Besonders das Zimmer war wirklich perfekt sauber, sehr gemütlich und extrem bequem. Man fühlt sich direkt wohl und merkt sofort, dass viel Wert auf Qualität gelegt wird.

Auch das Personal war während des gesamten Aufenthalts unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend. Der Empfang war herzlich und allgemein hat man sich jederzeit willkommen gefühlt.

Ein grosser Pluspunkt ist ebenfalls der riesige Parkplatz. Man findet wirklich immer problemlos einen Platz, was ich persönlich extrem angenehm finde.

Dieses Mal habe ich auch erstmals im Hotelrestaurant gegessen und ich muss ehrlich sagen: Ich war wirklich baff von der Qualität. Das Essen war hervorragend und das Restaurant kann ich wirklich jedem empfehlen, auch Personen, die nicht im Hotel übernachten.

Der Spa Bereich ist wunderschön gestaltet und auch die Saunas haben mir sehr gefallen. Allgemein ist das ganze Hotel sehr hochwertig und perfekt für einen entspannten Aufenthalt.

Cons:

Das einzige kleine Manko für mich persönlich war der Pool im Spa Bereich. Ich hatte mich extrem darauf gefreut, fand das Wasser aber leider eher kühl. Etwas wärmer hätte ich persönlich angenehmer gefunden, weshalb ich nicht sehr lange im Pool geblieben bin.

Trotzdem insgesamt wieder ein wirklich perfekter Aufenthalt und ich würde jederzeit sofort wiederkommen.

Heel fijn verblijf gehad
Pros:

De kamer was erg ruim en schoon, had een Bluetooth speaker dat vond ik een leuke verassing. Personeel was erg vriendelijk . Ontbijt was goed 8/10

fantastische wellness, fietsverhuur ter plekke

toch wel prijzig
het ontbijt op dag 2 viel tegen, er was heel veel volk, de warme gerechten waren koud, het zachtgekookt eitje was hardgekookt, er was maar één fruitsoort, nl watermeloen, en het flensje was keihard. ik besef wel dat men het restaurant aan het renoveren is, en dat het aanbod kleiner is, maar dat is nu éénmaal de sterke punten van Van Der Valk die ik nu gemist heb (ik heb al meerdere keren in verschillende VDV hotels verbleven)
